The next day, Alexa and I went shopping. England was nothing like America on Sundays. Everything was opened. Alexa and I went into boutique after boutique, trying on clothes on top of clothes. It was heaven, but all the walking was beginning to make me feel exhausted. We sat on bench that was in one of the parks.

"Oh my God, Mia," Alexa said.

"What?"

"He's here. "

"Who's here, " I asked worredly.

"Harry."

"Where?" Just as I said that, I spotted him by the fountain in the middle of the park.

Oh my god, oh my God, I thought to myself. I hurried to put on my sunglasses so that he wouldn't notice me. "Alexa, put your sunglasses on, " I whispered.

"For what?"

"So he won't notice me. I don't need to feel any worse about this situation than I already do. "

"He's coming over here any way," Alexa said sliding on her sunglasses.

"Oh my goodness." I pretended to look elsewhere as he made his way towards us. Then I decided to use my Columbian heritage to an advantage.

"Pretend you speak Spanish and you understand what I'm saying," I said to Alexa. She was Mexican but she didn't really learn Spanish.

"Y entonces ella me dije.."

"Hello Alexa, Mia," Harry said, looking down at me.

"No hablar Engles..."

"Mia stop he knows it's you," Alexa whispered.

"It's alright Alexa," he began. "I'm sure Mia knows better than to avoid her boss, I'm sure. Don't you?"

It felt like his forest green eyes were boring into my soul. His statement sent chills down my spine. I looked over at Alexa who was raising her eyebrows and sipping her iced coffee. I slowly raised my sunglasses and and said, "Of course I know, " and I plastered on a fake smile.

"So," Harry continued, sitting down on the bench next to me and crossing his leg. "You two will be leaving soon. ."

"Yeah, we're leaving on Friday," Alexa said, continuing to sip her coffee.

"Mia, that means that you can be in the office until then," Harry said, looking straight ahead of him. I swallowed hard at the thought. Being in the office intimidated by Harry and his sexiness until I leave.

"Uh, I never got my work schedule," I said, looking into the side of Harry's face. I noticed how defined his jawline was, how sleek his curls were as they glistened in the sun, and how pink his lips were.

"Mia, did you hear me?" he asked.

"What did you say?"

"I just said that I just gave you your schedule. 9 to 5 until Friday." He looked down at his watch. "Well, " he said, "I should be making my way home. Mia, I expect to see you tomorrow. On time. " He started at me as if to say something else, but I didn't quite know what it was. And once again, here I was, anxious for something that hasn't happened yet, awaiting the inevitable. As I thought about these things, I watched as Harry's slim but broad figure disappeared behind the fountain.
