** 2 Weeks Later

Ry started her internship right after the Fourth Of July so she's in New York until the end of the summer and Tini has been stealing Ace. well more like the other way around so I've had nothing to do all week except watch Pretty Little Liars from beginning to season 5 and eat like my life depended on it.

I grabbed my vibrating phone from behind me. Ry was FaceTiming me. I pressed answer and held my phone so she could see my face.

Ry- hello beautiful

I smiled.

-Hey sexy what's up?

Ry- Guess what?

The Cheshire Cat smile told me this was something beyond great.

- Found a prince to whisk you into the sunset with him?
Ry- unfortunately not yet
- well then what is it?
Ry- my boss just told me if I keep doing a great job like this he might consider hiring me

I'm happy for her but that's all the way in New York. It would be weird not seeing her almost every day. It would be selfish of me to tell her that though. Instead I smiled and said "You better keep working your ass off then".

Knowing her she'd get the job regardless she's too ambitious they'd be stupid not to hire her plus She's done with high school so it's not like she has a reason to stay down here.

I picked at my nails while she filled me in on what's been happening with her.

** 2 hours Later

I strolled into the café and ordered my coffee. I really need to get some friends. We go back to school in a month and a half I need things to do.

I sat in one of the window seats and looked out.

"What a beautiful view of the parking lot don't you think, sour patch?"

I looked up at Sav. "I'd think so. There's a nice view of the males with their overly expensive cars"

He nodded. "Haven't seen you in a while"

"This is true" I sipped my coffee.

He took that as an invitation to sit across from me.

I raised an eyebrow.

"So you've figured out basketball is not your thing then?"

"I only played with my ex so it was weird to even do it then" I said honestly before looking back out the window.

He nodded slowly. "I understand. Good memories meant to be left as memories"

I glanced at him from the corner of my eye for a second. "Exactly"

"So... You know my name but I still haven't learned yours"

"Ahja"

"Ahja" he repeated. "Nice name"

"Thank you"
