Not Just a Rebound

• Prologue

"Really Dominic?" I yelled.

He sucked his teeth "You didn't even hear my side of the story though!"

"I don't need to! Dominic I saw you and her together I don't need to hear your side!"

He tilted his head to the side and licked his lips "Ahja just listen to me"

Lubricating his lies no doubt.

"So you can lie to me again? No i'm tired of this Dom. "

He didn't say anything.

I crossed my arms and shook my head. "Even you know its true that's why you got nothing to say now, right?"

He still didn't say anything.

I stood against the wall.

"Ahja i'm sorry" He started to walk to me

"Yea right" I mumbled.

He came closer to me.

I moved away from him "Don't.."

He continued to move closer to me till he was next to me then he turned me so we were face "I'm serious.. this is the last time I will ever cheated on you"

I shook my head and let out a sarcastic laugh "You said that the first time.."

He tried to grab my hand but I moved it away "Well I mean it this time. I'm really sorry"

"So you were lying the first time?"

"No but.. damn Ahja you know what I mean!" he was getting aggravated.

He has some real balls man. Grande cojones.

I looked at the floor "I'm not gonna keep staying by your side if you're just gonna keep cheating.."

"Baby I promise I will never cheat on you again" He wrappped his arms around me and sat me on his lap.

I wiped my tears "Twice Dominic. Twice"

"I'm serious Ahja.. no more" He turned my head to face him "I love you to much" He kissed me.

At first I didn't kiss back but then I gave in. I couldn't help it i'm in love with this boy.

I pulled away after a while "I swear if you ever cheat on me again that's it"

"I'm not"

"That's it dominic" I repeated.

"I hear you girl" He started kissing me again.

I'm such an idiot.

So i'm trying something different.. genre wise at least. This one has absolutely nothing to do with drugs and stuff like 'Misunderstood' or 'If You Had My Love' & I'm making this one more relatable so instead of everything being handed to the protaganist (Main character) they have to go through real situations.
