Through these last few weeks my friendship with Taylor became stronger but my desire for her never perished. I tried my best to control my temptations but I couldn't take it when Taylor opened up to me about her love life. Hearing her speak about her crushes and all was just unbearable, but I didn't know what I was getting myself into until today.

It was a Saturday, Taylor called me up and asked me if I would like to hangout at her place as she had nothing to do and to somehow take her mind off of other things. I unquestionably agreed but what I didn't know was that I would regret it later.

"Bye, Car, I'm going over to Taylor's," I said with a genuine smile. I enjoyed Taylor's company and it somehow fulfilled my desire a bit, a very tiny bit but I did feel like our relationship lacked something, I wanted to be more than just friends with her but I very well knew that if I were to tell her about this secret she would freak out and most likely not even talk to me again.

"Bye, good luck," Cara said while snickering. She never gave up on making my imaginary relationship with Taylor possible, she gave Taylor slight hints whenever she got an opportunity but the blue-eyed beauty never seemed to catch onto them. I sighed at the thought.

"Is anything wrong?" she asked me concernedly.

"Nothing, bye," I said to avoid any further questions from her. I walked to the door as I heard Cara say, "Okay, have a nice time!"

"I hope I will," I said to myself as I stepped out of the place which felt pretty much like home after the last one year. I took a deep breath before walking down the hall to the stairs. I wondered why they didn't have an elevator in the building considering the fact that it had at least six floors. I walked down the stairs and out of the building. It was four in the evening, the sun's rays were still strong though. Numerous students walked and chatted among each other as I glided past them to reach my destination, Taylor's heart, just kidding! I knew that that was an impossible mission for me. I shook off my negative thoughts as I climbed up the stairs, when I reached the level were Taylor's dorm was located I moved my hands out of my pockets to wipe the sweat off of them. My palms somehow always manage to get really clammy when I'm on my way to see Taylor. I knocked on the door while whistling. I stopped when I heard the door's knob being turned open by presumably Taylor. And as predicted she opened the door and gave me an adorable smile.

"Come in," she said. Taylor closed the door once I entered the dorm. I walked to her bed and sat down. Taylor walked into the room and stood facing me.

"Actually Karls, I wanted to talk to you about something," she said nervously, playing with her fingers.

Aww, she's so damn cute!

"Huh?"

"I wanted to tell you something,"

"What is it Tay?"

"Calvin asked me out," as soon as the words came out of her mouth my heart broke into a thousand pieces. Taylor had been talking about this 'Calvin Harris' for more than a week and it has been really pissing me off. I must be an idiot, here I am talking to my crush, no the person I love about a douchebag who wants to take her out on a date!

WHAT THE FUCK! THAT SON OF A BITCH!

"Karlie?"

"What,"

"Should I go?"

Seriously? She's asking me this? If I were to tell her my true opinion about this then she would most likely be shocked so...

"I don't know Tay, I don't know the guy, if you want to go then I guess you should,"

Am I being a bit passive aggressive?
