We're all growing old and every day is just a day closer to death and I want to spend it wisely.
During grade school you may be asked many times, "what do you want to be when you grow up?" And the usual answer is a veterinarian or a firefighter, but unlike me I was always the one who said something really out of the ordinary like once I wanted to be a Seaworld killer whale trainer, cause I mean look they get to hang out with whales all day who doesn't want to. Anyway I'm getting off topic.
What is the age that you usually grow up? What does it mean to be all grown up? I mean yes, you turn legally an adult when you're 18 but maturely when do you grow up. I guess I just depends on your maturity and personality.
I don't know about you but when I grow up, I want to be a musician. I want to be known around the world and have millions screaming my name at my concerts. And I know it sounds silly to you but yeah that's what I want to do and it's weird to say that. I love music, just the way it feels to press the keys right or strum in perfect harmony or even play the position in just the right spot and it sounds like I'm at home whenever I hear my favorite song in the radio. Music connects to everyone on a spiritual level and there's no racism or sexism in music, there can be a black guy listening to country or a white girl listening to rap. I want to change the world through music, I want to create a band or just be a solo artist or something but that's what I want to do with my life. I want to do music everyday for the rest of my life and if that's a bad thing then just tell me because I would disagree with you on so many levels.
How can you change the world? Through music like me, through sports, through politics, through education, through volunteering, the list goes on forever but you can do anything in your life and all you have to do is grow up.
