"Mom!" She screamed, shaking her. "WAKE UP!"
She didn't move. She wasn't breathing. She grabbed the collar of the doctor and pushed him towards her mother. "SHE'S NOT WAKING UP!"
"Ms. Metsuko, please calm down," the doctor says softly. Mariah looked at him, then glared. "YOU'RE TELLING ME TO FUCKING CALM DOWN?! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO TELL ME THAT?!"
Suddenly, her mother's monitor went to a long line. "MOM!" She yelled.
