" So can we have our volunteers please "

This guy Nicholas was so dedicated towards what was being told. He didn't change his view even for a nanosecond. This was what made him more attractive.

All of a sudden I heard everyone yell 'David' , I turned back and saw him stand with his head held high . 

"Yea that's me " he said . 

"Ok ! anyone else .I'd prefer a girl " said Nicholas as he looked at me.

" Yes ... that girl will be me ! " I heard my cousin Stella yell.

I was completely shocked . Stella !! She was no leader material moreover why was she so happy in being his partner .? Questions popped up in my mind , she confused me.

 And then I caught the sight of Adam . He was Stella's crush , surprisingly he was in our group too. That's when things became clear . She wanted to impress him so she took up this leadership.

Oh ..!! this girl can go to every extent to make her needs meet.

Along with them were two more who volunteered themselves

" Ok! so we have four volunteers ! Lets start with the votes!"  said Nicholas.

I wasn't at all interested in voting. I mean how was I even suppose to do so. I hardly knew them!!. I simply sat there scrutinizing them. 

" Haha! So you vote for no one ?" 

I was stunned to hear those words . I looked up to see who it was and it was Nicholas.I couldn't do anything but just simply smile and say:" I hardly know anyone , it will not  be fair for me to judge them without me being friends with " I explained. 

" Fair enough " said Nicholas as he smiled.

Not surprisingly the results were as expected. David and Stella won. 

" Lets all clap for them as they will be our leaders for the next six days. " announced Nicholas. 

Everyone started yelling as if they had witnessed David Beckham or someone.!! What was in him that people were crazy for , that's what I wondered. ! I mean first he acted all innocent as if no one knew him and now here was  a different view altogether  . Everyone was craving for him.!!!! 

Well I guess I must stop thinking about him and his popularity . The fact here still lies the same, No one knew me and I was determined to build my friend circle, that  is all I wanted.

Can I ever open up and be just like everyone present in the hall ? Will I ever be able to make friends? Can I ever witness the happiness every boy or a girl witness's  at my age? 

Since my childhood this is the only place I got to make friends and I want to  make the most of it !! 

Soon day one of the camp was over and we were to leave .To be honest it was my first exposure and for some reason I wanted this day to end as soon as possible so I  could come back and enjoy the way I did today . Though I made no friends , but the feeling of being near youngsters was all I ever wanted. Surprisingly I wasn't missing being home alone anymore , I sort off wanted to get back here again.

I don't know what it was or why was I feeling so . All i knew I wanted to be here AGAIN! !
