Chap.7

"I'm better when I'm-" And I slam of the alarm for two reasons. The first is I can't stand another sing-along session, and the second one is today I dance at worlds and I can't wait!!! Ro and I are both getting brand new Celtic Stars! We have no idea what they look like but we have new wigs and accessories so we have an idea.
I get right up and put on the pink bloomers mom gave me, pink Nike pro shorts with a black band at the top, a white Nike pro sports bra, and a light blue shirt that says "The game is my fame" Then I head into the bathroom to do my wig and makeup. I start with my wig. I take a front section of my hair and put it in my poof shaper and pin it down. Then I take the rest of my hair and gather it into a ponytail than a bun and put the donut around it. then I take my new bun wig (the really big type not the little type) and put it over my donut. It takes an endless amount of Bobby pins to successfully stabilize but I eventually got it. Then I put in a pink crown and paired it with to little white flower pins and put those in to.

Then I got started with my makeup. I first put on my Smash box primer from Sephora. Then I get out my favorite waterproof foundation from maybelline in the shade nc42 and apply it all over my face. Then I blend both of those in with my foundation brush. Next I take my concealer and cover all the red spots, then I take my bronzer and apply that on to my cheeks. Then I put on blush and eyeliner and get out my naked eyeshadow pallet and a few other pallets that I really like to use. I start with a darker brown in the corner of my eyelids, then I do a lighter brown on my lids. Next I add a tan in my cease and to finish it off I add a shimmery gold and then mix in some sparkly eye shadow. I then glue on my fake eyelashes and then add mascara to blend and naturalize it. I then combed my eyebrows and put then put in some color to make them on point! Then I added my Mac retro matte ruby woo bright red lipstick and used a lip pencil to get my lips the way I liked them. Then I was done!

Ro when in to get ready and when she came out she looked amazing! She has a big brown full wig with a blue crown and her makeup is pretty much the same as mine. Ro and I stretched while we were waiting then when mom and Shay were ready, we headed down.

When we first get to the venue, we go straight to the Celtic Star booth. It's the morning so no one's and we go right up to the lady working there. Her and mom talk a bit then she pulls out our dresses. They're beautiful!!! She hands mine to me and Ro's to Ro to try on. I put mine on right away and it was gorgeous! It was pink, black, and white with gems all over it and the swirls that are commonly on solo dresses. Ro's was pretty much the same thing but in blue. We take a picture and I post it on Instagram and caption it "worlds 2k17🌎".

   Our two rounds were in Ballroom A and if we recalled, we were in C. Last night Madelyn got 4th, Grace got 21st Allie got 34th Brynn got 43rd, and Callie got 50th. It was great for their first time dancing! But now it was time to focus on my own dancing. Mom got our numbers and I'm 157 and Ro's 265 so we're not near each other. They're starting the first round with 123 so I'm up first....Shannon is number 124 though so she's in the first group. I found out that Lauren was 203 so she's not near any of us. Thank god. I put on my hard shoes and Ro, Shannon and I go to the practice room to warm up but mom texts me 45 minutes later saying our competition started in 15 minutes and we needed to come back and be ready so we all walked back and sat down.

"Okay it is now 8:00 so we are starting the girls 11 to 12 competition. Could we please have numbers 123 to 200 please come backstage to line up for the first round? Thank you." That's me! I put on my gorgeous new dress, check my shoes, mom takes a picture, I hug mom Ro and Shay, and then I'm off.
