Chap.5

Driving through Glasgow was like driving in paradise (but colder.) It was so pretty! They had so many antique houses and Scottish bag pipers. They were playing music and I watched as mom embarrassedly danced to the music. I tried to tell her to stop but she wouldn't listen and we were all laughing!

The hotel room was beautiful. Mom got us a sweet cause we need room for all week! Ro and I are sharing a pull out couch and Sadie and mom are sharing the king sized bed. There's a mini kitchen too! Mom got one cause she bought some microwaveable foods that we might need. (There's no stove or oven.) We have this huge bathroom and a shower in it which is big enough to do makeup and things like that in it. Two tv's, two bathrooms, and a little kitchen table.

He remembered! I told everyone about worlds and so far he's they only one who texted...maybe everyone else is just busy. I put my phone down on the night stand along with some other stuff after I texted him back saying thank you. I flop on the pillow to this amazingly comfy bed and my eyes start to shut. Like that I'm out like a light!

I wake up on Sunday morning, the first day of world's! Yesterday we just walked around and ate lunch but today we're just gonna be walking around the venue and watching people. The girl named Kayla is dancing today along with the other u11's. It's their first world's too and for everyone's first world's the older kids make posters for them. We're not exactly older, but for the people who have already been to worlds and danced solos a different year before this one. We each drew names to find out who we have to make a poster for, and the cool part is is that they don't know who their getting one from! I drew a girl named Allie and Ro drew a girl named Brynn. I put flowers, glitter, patterns, and basically everything you could think of on mine! In the middle it says Good luck Allie worlds 2k17! I'm really excited to give it to her!

I wake up at 8:00 and put on this short sleeve floral dress with a belt in the middle and this cute bow design on the back. I take out my curling wand and curl my hair but it doesn't take long cause I already curled my hair a few days ago. For makeup I put on this face cleanser thingy, some mascara, and eyeliner. It's not a lot cause I'm only 11. I walk out of the bathroom and look at Ro. She looks stunning! She has a floral crop top on and high waisted jeans. We both grab our favorite clutches and head out!

Worlds was madness. There were people everywhere. The ballrooms were flooded, and and the bathroom line stretched all the way to the practice room! Madelyn was the first girl that was dancing today in the u11 group with Grace, Kayla, Allie, Brynn, and Callie after her. We went over to ballroom C where they're dancing and waited for them to dance.
"Numbers 153, 154, and 155." The announcer said as Madelyn, 154, walked on. Tip up click down, and one two three kick two there and one two three... it was perfect. She hit every beat. It was so-
