Oh. My. God. Delany again? Really?! I hated doing this but I scrolled through his messages. Vin- You looked really pretty today :)
Delany- Aw thanks!(:
My heart shattered. I decided there were a few ways to handle this. I could blow up in Vinny's face. Nah. I'd cry. I could blow up in Delany's face. No. I'd hit her. Or, I could try and see if this was a misunderstanding. That sounded reasonable. I told Vinny I was headed home. He offered to give me a ride but I told him I'd walk. I walked alright. Straight to Mikey's house.
As I was walking, I tried to figure out what to say and do. All I wanted to do was curl up in a ball and listen to Eminem but yaknow, things don't always go your way in life. I didn't really know why I was going to Mikey's house but, something in my gut told me he would kno what to do. Maybe, Vinny was just being nice. Maybe, maybe, maybe. I found myself standing infront of Mikey's brick house. I walked up the steps and knocked on his door twice. He answered. "Hey...Hannah?" He gestured to his living room and I walked in slowly. "What's going on?" Mikey said slowly. I took a breath and explained the whole story. When I finished, he seemed to have had a magnificent idea on how to do his math homework in less than ten minutes, or he knew what was going on. I was hoping for the second one. "I sent that! I wanted to see her reaction to Vinny saying that...you know?" I was so confused at this point. "Mikey, why would you try that." He frowned. "Well, I wanted to make sure she didn't like Vinny. I mean if shes gonna be my girlfriend-" "YOU GUYS ARE DATING?!" I blurted. I mean, it made perfect sense. They were perfect for each other. But, how was Montana allowing this? Or did she know..?
