Yesterday, after I arrived back at the apartment from dropping Calum off at the garage, I hung out with Michael and Chelsea, mostly just watching movies and playing a karaoke game on the Wii. I won, obviously.

It was a new day, I had woken up at 9:00am and was currently eating breakfast, having a chat with Chelsea.

"So what d'ya wanna do today, babe?" My best friend asked me, shoving her spoon of cereal in her mouth.

"Well Ashton mentioned this party when we were skyping yesterday. He was going on and on about it, so I thought we could check it out later?" I suggested, unsure how Chelsea would feel about it.

I was definitely a party animal. So was Chels, but most days she just wanted to relax and watch the new episode of Breaking Bad. However, I found that boring.

"Sure. I'll come. Is Luke gonna be there?" She smiled shyly. Luke was Ashton's best friend. Ashton was Michael's best friend. And Michael was our best friend. We were all a close group of friends, who would just go out and party and have good times together.

Chelsea has had a crush on Luke for what seems like forever. For some reason, she's never told him about it, but maybe it's because she doesn't want to divide the group if they were to possibly get together, and then eventually break up.

I've been encouraging her to forget about Luke, and move on with someone who isn't in our group of friends, and reach out to get to know new people. That would be the logical thing to do if she was worried about the group separating. She just doesn't see that.

"Probably. That kid basically lives in the club. He pays rent there. His neighbours are strippers and DJ's. His water source is the sweat off the ground." I made up, making Chelsea laugh.

"Is the party at the Wanza?" She asked, finishing up her cereal and filing her bowl and spoon into the dishwasher.

The Wanza was the main club in town. The five of us regularly visited the place, so much so that the bartenders know us by name.

"Yeah. But apparently they're showcasing they're new VIP lounges for regular customers, and Ash said that includes us!"

Chelsea's eyes widened.

"That's sick! So we're getting our own mini clubbing lounge?!" Now she was excited.

I nodded, energy pumping through my veins. I was in a hyper mood, and it was only ten-thirty.

"I invited Calum by the way." Michael whispered into my ear as we sat in the back of the taxi, headed to The Wanza.

I was taken by surprise, only because I thought I wasn't going to see Calum again after dropping him off at the garage.

"Cool. Is he joining us in the lounge?" I fiddled with my black-painted nails.

My outfit choice for tonight consisted of a v-neck, black, bodycon dress, with black stockings underneath, and then paired with black and white converse, since I hated wearing heels.

"Yeah, I hope that's okay. Calum told me that you guys didn't get along too well the other night, so I told him to just give you space." Michael explained casually.

Calum said what? Since when did we 'not get along', we were fine. Calum was a good guy, and now here he is telling other people that we don't like each other?

"Um, okay, sure. Thanks." I shrugged, keeping my thoughts to myself.

We'd been shown to our VIP lounge, and trust me, it was amazing.
It was on the second floor, overlooking the main dance floor, but the large window was tinted so that we could see downstairs, but the people downstairs couldn't see us.

There was a minibar with a bartender who would unlock the alcohol cabinets to serve us drinks.
The ceiling was outlined with ultraviolet lights of pink and green (as well as speakers), and the dance floor was matte black.
There was a medium sized black leather couch in the corner of the room, paired with a silver table in front of it.

I got the night started by ordering my first mojito, as Mikey, Chels and I waited for the others.
