Chapter Twelve

Around six, we all get tired of swimming, so we decide to take a little trip to Downtown Disney. We were planning to just go back to the hotel, but we all thought that six was too early to call it a night.

My two braids end up coming out of my hair, and they're replaced with a big messy bun. I didn't bring any clothes other than the shorts and t-shirt, so I'm kind of stuck in that.

"Alright girls, we can split up if you want." Meredith decides. Andy, Ken, Jamie, and I decide to stick together, and we head to Ghiradelli to get something to eat. Jamie and I get a brownie sundae, Andy gets a chocolate shake, and Ken gets a banana split. We're lucky enough to find a table right outside so we can sit and eat. My phone buzzes, and I'm so focused on this sundae that I debate even checking it, but I do.

Gabe: I wanna see you:(

Me: I know. It's been two days. Meredith is setting a nine thirty curfew since we have to be at MK tomorrow by ten.

Gabe: oh yeah, I'll see you then. And tomorrow night Chef Mickey squad can have a movie night at the hotel or something.

Me: yes okay that sounds great. Meredith would def be okay with that.

Gabe: see you then :)

"Okay, are we ready?" Ken asks as she flings her purse over her shoulder. "World of Disney is right around here and I want to do some shopping." Here I go, about to blow even more money.

World of Disney is huge. It seems even more huge than when I was a child, which is hard to believe. Andy finds a Mike Wazowski mask almost instantly, and I find a Sulley tail.

"We're so cute." She laughs. "Jamie take our picture!" She hugs me and wraps her arms around my neck, and since I'm shorter than she is, I wrap my arms around her waist. Her chin is resting on my head, and we're both laughing. It's a pretty cute picture actually.

SDavis01: I wouldn't have nothin if I didn't have youuu

Surprisingly, Nate is the first to comment.

NathanielDavis24: that implies that you'd have something, and that's my shirt.

There's no way I'm buying this tail, so I carefully take it off and put it back on the rack.

"S! I FOUND YOU SOMETHING!" Ken yells as she comes running toward us with something in her hand. It's a backpack. It's black with white dots, sequined, and has a red bow with black ears at the top.

"This is really cute." I comment. "And I've really needed a backpack."

"I know. And this one is so super cute and is only forty bucks."

"Okay. I'm gonna get it." I decide as I turn it over in my hands. Jamie finds a Minnie Mouse stuffed animal that's dressed as a ballerina, and all four of us decide to get one. They're so cute, and so soft.

"We gotta meet them soon or Meredith is gonna shoot us."

"Okay girls, how are you feeling? Feeling good?" Ethan asks as he comes in with another man. "This is Mr. Jacobs, and he's the head of casting and directing."

"Please, call me Jimmy." He says as he waves. "I just wanted to meet you all, because I'm hoping that someday you'll be auditioning here with us. I wanted to congratulate you for your achievement. I know you're dying to see your costumes, which the costume designer will be down any minute. I did just want to tell you that since these costumes were custom made just for you, we cannot reuse them. So if you would like to keep them, be my guest. If not, you can leave them here."
