"How much trouble do you think we're gonna get in?" I ask Ken the next morning.

"It's my dad. None."

"Well after he just sent us to bed, I got a little worried. I figured he would scream and yell. But he just told us to go to bed."

"I was there, and you're rambling."

"I just don't want him to tell Meredith. You know what happens when we break curfew on these trips."

"I know what happens. And he won't tell her because he knows too. He wouldn't do that to us. Get ready."

"Okay." I head into the bathroom to put makeup on and straighten my hair. I'm so excited for my outfit today, like I've had it planned since the beginning of the trip. I brought my clothes in with me, so I change while I'm in here. My outfit is a light blue skater skirt, and a white crop top that says "mermaids don't do homework" with a seashell on the side. I'm wearing my silver ears today, because they match the best.

"Awh you look so cute. Are we gonna meet Ariel today?"

"I hope so." Ken is almost completely ready, so I put on black sandals and grab my purse.

"Girls! Open up!" Ken's dad yells as he knocks. I rush over to open the door and welcome him in.

"Dad! How did you sleep!"

"Where did you two go last night?"

"Just down to the food court! We both were starving, so we went down and grabbed something to eat. It was like ten, not two in the morning." Ken argues.

"I just wish you had let one of us know."

"We did! We told Meredith." I speak up.

"So if I ask Meredith, she'll say that you asked?"

"She was half asleep when we told her, and you know that she doesn't remember anything when she's tired. But you can try."

"I trust you two. Next time, let me know. You may have let a chaperone know, but Ken, I'm your father, and Siena, I'm practically your father. Just tell me, okay?"

"Okay. Sorry about that." He leaves the room, and we both take a deep breath.

"We've been lying to him for like twelve years now and he has not caught us once." Ken points out.

"Oh I know. My father is definitely better at seeing through us."

"It's Nate. Nate used to tell him whenever we were lying because he figured out that when you mess with your clothes, you're lying. None of our parents have figured that out yet. Or Jayce, thank god."

"No, Jayce knows when you're lying, he just doesn't tell. Nate doesn't tell anymore but he used to because he used to always be in trouble and wanted to see someone else get in trouble."

"Jayce knows when you're lying. Not when I'm lying."

"Everyone except our parents know when you're lying. Your nose crinkles."

"It does not!"

"Yes it does!"

"I'm calling Jayce!" She digs for her phone in the comforter before dialing Jayce. She puts him on speaker and we both sit down on her bed.

"Hey, what's up?"

"I don't have much time to talk because we're heading to Siena's kingdom, but does my nose crinkle when I'm lying?" We call Magic Kingdom my kingdom because when we all came together, the parents called it that. Ken loved animals, so Animal Kingdom has always been known as her kingdom.
