Chapter Thirteen

The movie comes to an end, and I'm like half asleep. Gabe fell asleep half way through, so I don't feel so bad about practically being asleep. My head is on his shoulder, and his arm is around my waist. We probably look really cute.

"Of course Gabe and Siena are the only two to fall asleep." Andy laughs as the bed shifts.

"They're perfect for each other." Kat declares. Ken takes the icepack and wrap off of my foot and makes the same noise she did when she first saw my foot.

"It looks worse. It's kinda purple." Eva says as she sits on the foot of the bed. "Should someone take her to the ER?"

"Wake her up first." Tessa says. "Ask her a few questions." Andy sits next to me and slowly shakes me awake.

"What?" I moan as I roll over, which wakes Gabe up.

"What's going on?" He asks as he rubs his eyes.

"S, we're worried about your foot." Andy says as she has me sit up.

"Where on your foot did the lady run over it?" Ken asks.

"Kinda toward the top." I say as I trace where it was run over.

"Did you fall or twist or anything?" Tessa asks.

"Twist?" I question. "I guess. Like after she ran it over I was about to fall and caught myself."

"I think she sprained it." Ken speaks up. "And this could be a bad one."

"Go get your dad. We probably should take her to the ER." Tessa decides.

"Are we gonna call an ambulance for a sprained ankle?" I ask sarcastically.

"It could be severe." Andy points out.

"And I could always drive." Gabe points out. "There's one about twenty minutes from here. But Bren, Kat, Eva, James, and Luke, you guys all have to be to work semi early tomorrow, so you should go home."

"We wanna be here for her." James argues.

"Not everyone is going to be able to come to the emergency room, maybe only one or two of her friends. I'll text you updates." He promises. They finally agree and leave, and Ken goes to get her dad.

"How does it feel Siena?" He asks as he takes my foot into his hands.

"It hurts."

"Kendall, you're worried about a severe sprain or break?"

"Yes dad."

"Then yes, she should go to the emergency room. Taxi or ambulance?"

"I can always drive." Gabe speaks up. "I have my car here, and a taxi is gonna cost a lot."

"Okay, that's fine, but I'm coming along. Ken, are you gonna come?" Her dad asks.

"I can fit three in the back." Gabe speaks up.

"I'll come if that's alright." Andy decides.

"Can I throw on joggers?" I request as I get out of bed. I grab a random pair and limp into the bathroom. I change quickly, and then limp back out.

"I told Meredith, but she's not coming along since there's no more room in the car, and I'm going." Ken's dad says as he helps me move out of the bathroom.

"Here, I got you." Gabe says as he picks me up bridal style.

"Thank you." I say to him as he walks down the stairs. "We haven't even been together two weeks and I'm already causing you so much trouble."
