"Your hand fits in mine like it's made just for me, Bear this in mind it was meant to be. And I'm joining up the dots with freckles on your cheek. And it all makes sense to me..."
I hummed softly as I pulled my hair in a messy pony tail. I then got up to examine myself in the full length mirror. I was in a long sleeved blouse with the batman sign, a black skinny jeans, a leather jacket, my black and white converse, my snap-back and my bracelets. My outfit was then topped off by a black heart chain and a black star ring. I gave myself a once over. Being satisfied I slung my back pack over my bag and made my way to my green and black motorbike. Then I was full speed ahead to school.
It was my Senior year at Malcom High, thankfully I might add. I would finally be able to leave this idiotic school and all the idiots in it. Then to the bad side, Prom was coming up and I am sure Kay will stop at nothing to get me there. I just wasn't into all that dresses and high heels. I am more of a sneakers and pants kinda girl.
As I pulled into school, I parked my ride in my regular parking lot and then made my way inside to my locker.
"JESSY!!!" Kaylor, my bestie, shouted as she fought her way through the mass of students.
"Hey Kay" I greeted her as I closed my locker.
Kaylor was more of a girly girl. She had on a cream and black strapless dress that stopped mid-thigh. The top was cream and the bottom black and she wore a black and cream coat over it. She had on a high cream heels with a black strap and it was topped off by her brunette hair being in loose curl which rested on her shoulder.
"Nice outfit Jessica" she said scanning her eyes over my outfit.
"Thanks, You don't look too bad yourself" I told her
"Not too bad, please." she stated " I look absolutely FA-BU-LOUS" she informed me propping her hand on her hip and flipping her hair causing me to laugh but my laughter was cut shot by the sound of the second warning bell.
"Shucks!" I exclaimed "If I'm late my bike is gonna get taken away" I added pulling Kaylor down the hallway.
"Slow down I'm in very high heels" Kaylor whined
"Not my prob" I mumbled just as we entered the classroom just in time for the bell. We took our seat at the extreme back of the class.
"Thanks a lot Jessy... My feet are killing me" Kay grumbled
"If you would listen to me and wear sneakers instead of those heels you wouldn't be complaining" I retorted
"Sure as soon as you stop driving around on that death machine" She shot back
"Watevs" I said deciding to drop it because if I didn't it would turn into a full fledged lecture on the dangers of driving a bike and I just wasn't in the mood
Soon it was time for the first class of the day, English Literature, one of my fave subject. Since Kaylor and I wasn't in the same class we said our goodbyes then on our way to class. Halfway to class my book was knocked out of my hands by a group of boys who continued walking pass me and my books on the floor. I pulled back the one closest to me.
"Next time watch where you are going" I told him " Now take up my books" I added after all either him or one of his friends were the ones who dropped them.
He bent to pick them up but was stopped by one of his friends saying, "Don't"
"Pick Them Up" I repeated at the same time his friend repeated "Don't"
"Since you don't want him to pick them up, you do it" I said turning to him
"Come on guys" He said walking away completely ignoring me and if there was one thing I hated was being ignored
