Chapter 2: Shizuka Basketball Team

I couldn't help but chuckle at the new team we now had. A long day of our tryouts, and now the team has been picked; quite an interesting group of individuals:

Twins, Orita Keiji and Keita: 2nd years

Ryoshi Toru: 4th year

Uzakina Idaya: 3rd year

Inuzuka Kotoru: 2nd year

Hyakuu Ryosai: 3rd year

And not to forget about:

Our manager, Mochi Suka: 4th year

Our coach, Makoto Risa: 2nd year

And I, Kuroko Tetsuya, along with Mayuzumi Chihiro and Ogiwara Shigehiro: 1st years. (A/N:Yes, I know Mayuzumi was like a 3rd year in the anime, but j changed it to match Kuroko's and Ogiwara's.)

Heh, it's almost funny with us three being the youngest, yet here we are as their superiors in the club.

I couldn't help but smile slightly as I stood before them all in front.

"Well now, you all are officially the new and first Shizuka Basketball Team." I said with a chuckle.

Mayuzumi snickered, crossing his arms in front of them all.

"And just because you guys are older, ain't mean we gotta bow down to you. You're in our house now, and we are in charge!" He said evilly.

Ogiwara laughed nervously and looked away in slight embarrassment.

"A-Anyways...Go ahead and introduce yourselves to us and tell us all about yourselves!"

Suka smiled softly and bowed, standing up front first (and don't think I didn't notice some of the boys blush).

"I'm Mochi Suka. I work at a small bakery and cafe, Sūta Okashi, owned by one of my five brothers." He said with a small chuckle.

One of the guys' eyes widened. "Huh?! Five brothers?!"

"Did you say the Sūta Okashi?! That famous new-trending place?!" gawked another.

Suka simply nodded.

"Mhm. I have five elder brothers, and one of them owns the whole Sūta Okashi chain. My mother left us a long time ago when I was very little, and I don't remember her much. So it's only been me, my brothers, and my father."

The others quickly looked down, obviously realizing his situation and understanding better.

He's had to carry the weight, even as the youngest. Growing up with all those guys and no mother must've had some impact on him.

Risa soon enough came up with a grin, shooing away the negative vibes for us.

"Makato Risa! My father owns the whole Makoto Gym chains all over Japan, and some even in America!" She announced proudly. "And I'm an only child!"

Some others nodded in respect. The Makoto Gym chains are very popular and well-known. I knew this was a great choice for our coach.

The two twins then stepped up next. The one with the huge smile bowed first while the other one looked like he was bored and didn't want to be there.

"We're the Orita twins! Name's Keiji, and this is my adorable little twin brother, Keika!" He said happily.

Keika sighed at him.

"Older by two minutes..." He mumbled, almost in a sulking manner.

Keiji chuckled and ruffled his hair.
