Asa’s P.O.V

I screamed. The doctors go inside right away. I couldn’t.. I just couldn’t. I started to cry. I was terrified. Was this all what love was about? Loving someone, then having them die. Because, if it was.. I didn’t want any part of it. Then I realized, that this whole time I had very selfish.  I wanted Clariss for my own, I even made her my own. I came to appoint, where I felt that Cupid was betraying me. He threw that arrow alright, but he failed. He betrayed me, made me think I was in love, that I had ‘feelings’.

I ran outside. Leaving that 5th floor. The beep was haunting me. What was I to tell her father? He trusted me! He thought I loved her… I thought that too. I guess letting her die wasn’t enough love. I kept running. I didn’t want to know about anything. I kept running and running until I came to a place where there was grass. Bright green grass, welcoming me to sit down. It was dark and only the stars were out. I laid down on the grass, and stared at those shining armors. They were glaring at me. I closed my eyes and started to cry.. again. I have been crying too much lately. But I don’t care. I wanted Clariss back. I kept staring at the stars, waiting for a miracle. I kept staring deep into the sky, trying the find the little prince. Trying to get my hopes back. I closed my eyes and whispered’ “Clariss, if you have left this world, and if you have gone deep into the heavens… I want you to know that; I will love you Forever. And Forever will I keep you in my heart” I opened my eyes to find a shooting star. My eyes bugged out. HOPE. I wished for Clariss to live. Even if it will be her last time. Even if it will be for little time.

I got a call from Mr. Morcaldi. I answered:

“Asa! Where are you? I have something to tell you..”

“Hello” I said

“Asa, you alright?” he asked

“I’m much better now..”

“Um, Asa… do you know?” he asked stuttering

“Yes…”

“She woke up!! She opened he eyes!” he said screaming, I could tell he was crying of joy.

“Whaaat?!!! I’ll be there in a second.. Sir”

I hanged up and ran as fast as I could.

Third Person –Narrator-

He ran as fast as he could. Through the city lights he shined, through the stone steps he jumped. He was about to see his first love alive. Something that felt like a thousand years. He ran even more. His heart was back, this time.. more than alive. It was dancing, singing…it was loving. Maybe he was wrong after all.

He ran through the busy streets of Italy. He was invincible. He was a hero.Two more blocks and he’d find the big building that had that 5th floor. With his miracle. His miracle. He kept running, not caring if any vehicle was behind him. He ran across the street. He was about to reach the openings of the door when he felt something hit him. He fell to the ground.
