Monday, 9:13 am
"Geez Asami, what the hell are you trying to do!?" I ask in a soft but harsh voice.
"Just saying hi to my new friend" she says like she didn't get the memo.
"Yeah well please don't do that" I say getting up and grabbing my stuff.
"But why?" She pouts.
"Because reasons" I say.
I quickly walked away so I wouldn't hear her response. If this was going to keep happening, I swear, I'm going to stop school.
Like I said, I didn't desire attention, in fact, I hated it. Too much of it and you may end being too proud and may actually call yourself a god among men. Its better if you get none, that way you won't get bullied or gain depression.

I checked my watch, 10:00 am was written on it's face. I walked out the 3rd period classroom for break, and I was on guard in case Asami wanted to ambush me again. I walked to my locker, opened it and grabbed the BLT sandwich I made myself.
I went to the spot I usually spend time for lunch in, not the canteen, not the library, not even the alleyway behind the school. I spend my time on the rooftop, yes, the rooftop.
The rooftop wasn't restricted, in fact, anybody could go there. The fact is, nobody except me goes there because they're all hanging out with their friends and groups on the courtyard. The rooftop was surrounded by fences to prevent anyone who went there from falling.
I sat on the edge, took my English homework from my bag, and did it while eating my sandwich. I looked down at the courtyard only to see happy children running around and talking to each other. I thought to myself...
Why couldn't they just do their homework!?
I scoffed and returned focus to my homework.
The questions were no joke, it took me some time before I could answer half of them, and usually, I don't mean to brag, but I'm usually very good in English. I just couldn't tell the difference between an adjective and an adverb.
ARRRRRGHHHH! These questions are going to kill me!
"An adjective describes a noun and an adverb describes a verb, silly"
I recognize that voice. I turned around and saw Asami RIGHT BEHIND ME.
"WOAH!" I screamed out as I fell off the edge and hit my head on the cold hard ground of the roof.
"Seriously? Again!?" I shout as I rub my head,
"Yeah, silly. You looked like you're having trouble with your homework" she replies calmly
SHE READ MY EXPRESSIONS!?
"Well then... um... how did you find me?" I say getting up,
"Oh, I wanted to see the view from the roof and I just happened to find you here" she replies,
I was tempted to say "get lost" or something like that, but I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Especially a new student's.
"What a coincidence huh?" I say instead,
"Yeah it is" she says, then she gives me a small smile.
What the heck is up with her and smiling??? Maybe she's trying to seem more friendly... or something...
The bell rang, and it signaled the end of break. I took a look at my homework, and I realized there were a few questions left.
I guess I'll just do this at home...
I put my homework back in my bag and started my walk to the next period classroom, then I felt a little tug on my sleeve. Asami probably wanted something from me.
"Yeah? What?" I asked,
"Can I walk with you back to the classroom?" She asks,
"Eh!? Why!?" I responded,
"Cause we're friends, silly! That's what friends do!" She giggles,
"Gah... fine..." I reply, not knowing how to counter that statement
So yeah, we basically we walked to the next class together.
Worst day ever.... ugh....

Dismissal. My favorite time of the day...
I checked my watch, and the time was 3:30. I grabbed my bag and rushed out of the classroom.
On my way out of the school, I caught a glimpse of Asami hanging out with some few other girls. Looks like she's made new friends, and it also means she won't be bothering me anymore.
YES!
Once I stepped out of the school, I felt and heard drops of water falling from the sky...
Rain... out of all days... DAMN IT!!!!
Luckily, I was wearing a jacket with a hood, so I put the hood on my head and started walking home.
The trip didn't seem long anymore now that I was used to it. The rain didn't make it any easier, in fact it made it much much harder. Occasionally, my shoes would fall into a hole filled with water, and it was a challenge to get them out.
About an hour later I arrive home. I open the door and I was greeted by a-
"HEY STUPID, YOU'RE LATE"
My abominable older cousin, Yuumi Rakiya (first name-last name format), greeted me with those words. Not a good welcoming for a guy who was DRENCHED IN THE RAIN.
I gave no response and just walked past her with my clothes dripping rainwater all over the floor.
"Hey Dumb dumb! I just had the floor cleaned so you're cleaning up the crap-smelling stuff you're dripping all over the place!!" Yuumi shrieks,
I swear, I hate listening to those high pitched shrieks. I gave the "whatever" signal to her, and entered my private space, aka room.
Oh yeah, my last name isn't Rakiya. In fact I don't know what it is, but I know it ain't Rakiya like my cousin because we're cousins (that make any sense to you?)
I took a shower in the bathroom of my room and hung my wet uniform to dry outside. Then I had a struggle of what to do first, clean the floor, or do my homework...
"You better be cleaning the mess you made right now, baka!" I hear Yuumi scream from her room.
That answers it. I'm cleaning the floor first.
