"Ah~ that was fun!"
Asami stretched her arms up in the air as we left the mall area. Well she must have enjoyed...
WHILE I PRACTICALLY SUFFERED
Trailing behind her was me, carrying about 7 bags of fashionable clothing. One of these bags were mine, while the rest belonged to her.
"Fun for you maybe, but I am tired!" I whine softly,
"Huh? Did you say something?"
"Nothing, princess-sama"
Asami looked at me with a strange look as I said that.
"Why call me princess?" She asks suspiciously,
"Princesses are rich aren't they?" I answer honestly,
"Ohoho, I'm not rich" she chuckles,
"Yes you are"
"Got any proof professor??"
Oh its on now...
"First of all, your house; a freaking mansion!"
"I believe I told you I won that in a lottery"
"Second, these bags filled with expensive items"
"Those aren't expensive"
"Oh really?"
We stopped for a moment at the edge of the sidewalk. I opened up one bag and pulled out a blouse made out of what I knew to be velvet.
"Well?" I asked,
"You do realize that that blouse is made out of cheep cotton"
"Wait what? I thought this was velvet"
"It looks like that doesn't it?" She snickers, "Oh and I'm a bit surprised"
"About what?" I asked,
"You don't know much about the world yet you know what velvet is"
She then began laughing softly as she walked ahead of me as I stuff the blouse back into the bag. I look up for a moment and notice that the path forward was a street-crossing section. I didn't find it that suspicious until I noticed a flashing red light on a black box impaled on a thin black stick.
What does that mean...?
I then heard a loud horn on the west side. I looked and my eyes gazed upon a tanker truck, going in a speed where I feel like it wouldn't brake in time when-
It was then I realized...
Hold on a second...
I turned back towards the path forward and noticed Asami frozen in fear right in the smack middle of the truck's path.
Asami...
"ASAMI!"
I left the bags as I kicked off the ground. Running as fast as I can in hopes I can reach her in time, yet the truck closed in faster than me.
Suddenly time slowed down.
My hand wavered.
I couldn't reach her.
N...No... not my... first-
All of the sudden I felt a force push me backwards. Due to that, I landed buttfirst back on the sidewalk. I looked up and saw a green and grey blur headed towards Asami.
