Thursday, 8 hours before the sleepover, 9:00 am

I'm feeling really, really pressured. Mostly because of what comes after school. If only there were a way to get out of it, but sadly I don't see that happening anytime soon or later.

To make matters worse, at the beginning of the week, I found out that they made the roof temporarily off limits die to renovation of the fences. It seems that it was never even changed ever since the school was founded (which was 20 or 30 years ago), which was why it collapsed easily.

So where did I hang out? In the cafeteria, with Asami (and Miyomi). Not because I wanted to (which I don't), but because I didn't have a choice. There wasn't any other solitary place I knew in school grounds besides the rooftop, so I had to endure being surrounded by so many people, which is not a healthy thing for me.

Ok now, back to the present

So first period just finished, and now it was the intermission. I finally just mustered up the courage to ask someone something.

I got my ass off my seat and walked 3 rows in front of me, to the seat of a brunette in pigtails packing her notes and papers into her file folders and bag.

I stood right in front of her with my shadow overlooking her, and once she noticed me she looked up from her seat, and hid her face behind a handout. Her golden eyes which contrasted with the color of her hair stared at me with fear.

And yes, she should be afraid, because my question is going to be something she'll have to answer

"Miyomi Akibara..." I say in a deep rough voice,

"Y-yes? Kayden-sama?" She says nervously,

Yes my plan is working...

"I want to ask you something..." I say with the same tone,

"W...what is it...?"

Yes Miyomi... keep trembling...

"Are you ready for it though?" I say with a glare of death,

She nods her head, while hiding more of her face with the handout.

"Ok, here it goes..."

I take a deep breath... and let it out

"What are you planning?"

"Eh?"

She suddenly stops trembling and shows her full face by putting the handout in the table.

That wasn't really part of the plan... I think...

"What do you mean Kayden-sama?"

"I think there's more to your excuse. Why exactly aren't you going to the sleepover?" I say to clear confusion,

"Like I said, my little sister has a birthday party" she says without hesitation,

I think she's lying...

"Oh really?" I say drawing my face closer,

"Y-yeah... why?"

"I think there's more to that than I think... its just a bluff isn't it?" I ask,

"What are you talking about? Its true that my sister has a party!" She says,

"Oh really?" I say drawing my face even closer,

"Y-yeah!!!"

I squint down so she can see I was serious, but then she just kept trembling and wouldn't say a thing. Our faces were a few inches away from each other but I didn't care. I had to find out the truth somehow, and luckily I could sense that no one was watching.
