You and Jacob have been quite close friends now. You've always been there for each other for 7 years now and still counting. You and your family were going to be going over for a dinner at their house.
You get ready and put on :

Once all of you finish getting ready, you head to their house (you, your older brother, your mum and dad).
You reached their house and Jacob's mom opens the door. "Hi!"
We all greeted each other and I saw Jacob behind her. I ran up to him and hugged him tight. He opened his arms and caught me, hugging back.
"Haha, nice to meet you too." He said,laughing.
We both let go and I looked at him with a 'really' face.
My older brother just looked at both us with a confused look and asked, "Are you guys like, dating?"
"NO!" We both shout in unison.
"Stop that." We look at each other.
"Ok seriously, stop."
The question of alot people that meet us is whether we're dating or together and we always need to explain that we were just friends. I was completely happy like that.
