Y/N's POV
--------------
You were quite sad that day, your parents had gotten into another fight.

You sat on your bed, knees to your chest with your face completely hidden.

You hear the sound of a window opening but still don't want to look up.

You felt your bed dip to the other side as an arm goes around your shoulder, making you warm in the raining weather.

"Y/N.. Don't cry, it wasn't your fault.."

"You don't know that for sure.."
You mumbled in between sobs.

He let out a sigh as he continued to try and comfort you.

"You know, if you were a basketball, I'd never shoot."
He said as he lifted your chin, making you stare into his breathtaking eyes, which were now filled with concern and worry.

"Why?"
Your sobs came to a slight stop.

"Cause I'd miss you."
He smiled.

You couldn't help but smile back.

What? His smile is contagious.

You hugged him, thankful for his existence in this world.
"Thanks Jacob."
You whispered into his ear.

"You're welcome Y/N."
He whispered into your ear, as he hugged back.
