The Chase

Y/N's POV
--------------

You, Jacob, Vivian (Your best friend), and Dave (Your other friend) were at the park.

All of you were casually chatting away, not really doing much. A butterfly flew by and the boys got distracted for a while.

Vivian gave you a smirk and whispered in your ear what she planned on doing.
You couldn't help but grin at the plan and quickly nodded your head in agreement.

"Hey guys, me and Vivian are gonna go.. um.. look around for a while," You said, trying to contain your excitement in.

"Can we come?" Jacob asked but you and Vivian were already walking away.

You picked up your pace and soon, so did the boys.

You and her split ways as you were both now sprinting for your lives.

Oh crap.. this is bad.

You looked behind you and see Jacob running after you.

Oh no.. this is worse.

You try and sprint faster but see Jacob falling behind quite a distance so you stop for a while and look back.

"Why.. are.. you.. chasing ..me?"
You asked in between pants, hoping he would stop.

"I don't actually know, but it seems fun," He said,continuing to run towards you.

Your eyes widen, knowing he wasn't going to stop, you break off into a sprint.

After a few minutes, you look back and not see anyone, so you slow down and eventually come into a stop.

As you were standing there, clutching your sides, gasping for air, you couldn't help but wonder where could the three be?

All of the sudden, someone picks you up, arms around your waist. You scream in panic until you hear a familiar voice.

"Caught you."

Jacob.

"Jacob, you scared me!"
You told him as he let you down.

"I kind of got the hint when you screamed," He laughed a little.

You shoved him playfully before asking where the other two were.

"Why? Don't you like it when we're alone?" He winks at you.

He started to lean in and you did too.
As if on cue, Vivian came screaming, making you both jump back in surprise.

You blushed profusely at the ground, not knowing what to do or say.
