~ Lauren's POV:
I froze in my place as my mouth fell slightly a jar. "No..." I whispered out barely capable of hearing. I started breathing heavily and my mouth became dry. I clenched my hands as it shook in anger. My jaw quickly shutting tight.
"They're back in town."
That's what kept repeating in my head. The woman I hated so much is back in town after all these years!
"I know, bunny. That was about the same reaction when I heard the news," my dad says walking towards me then hugging me.
I sighed, "I'm wanna be alone." I walked out of his office like a zombie towards my room. I entered my room shutting the door behind me. My velvet walls were the first thing I see. I walked towards my bed slamming myself onto it face-down. I took my pillow screaming into it as loudly my voice could reach.
When my throat started to hurt, I sat up grabbing my bass guitar near my drawer. I switched on the amplifier and started strumming the guitar. Ripping sounds echoed in my room as I played "Sic Transit Gloria (cover)" by We Are The In Crowd on my iPhone dock while I play with my guitar. I could totally feel and hear the music running into my soul. I leaned onto the wall as I close my eyes.
After an hour of strumming different songs, I see my phone light up notifying a message. I grabbed my phone unlocking it seeing the message from Tyler, my cousin who is the football quarterback for our school.
Tyler: Hey cuzzo! Party at my house at 10. invite your lil followers. ;D
I pondered in my head thinking if I should go or not. I bit on my nails being a habit of mine when I was in a pensive state. I sighed laying back down onto my bed staring at my ceiling.
Finally deciding that I should let loose and try to forget the woman from my past in town, I decide to go. There's no harm in getting drunk right? Of course the major headache in the morning would be a b*tch, but right now, it's worth it. I took my phone texting Tyler while looking at the clock.
Me: Be there in an hour. -.-
After I texted Tyler, I texted Beverly and 4 more people who hung out with us all the time, telling then to go to Tyler's party.
I stood up from my bed grimly and headed towards my closet picking out an outfit which was a black baby doll dress and some leggings with a pair of flats. After dressing, I went into the bathroom to put on light make-up. Putting on the last touch ups of my eye liner, I exited my room telling the house-maid to inform my dad that I was going out.

Sweaty bodies. Loud music. Drunk teenagers. Red cups. Grinding bodies. Yeah, this is totally a party. I've spent an hour dancing with random strangers... Or should I say random hot guys. I've had a couple of drinks that made me forget my problems. Oh, who am i kidding! I'm not drunk enough. A couple more will do. I held my head feeling a headache and light-headed.
I groaned as I bumped into people's shoulders trying to head to the kitchen. I've had constant ass-groping and feel ups, but I didn't care.
I entered the kitchen grabbing spiked punch and chugging it down until there was no drops. I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand then refilling my cup. As I turned to exit, I saw the most disgusting thing. Two guys were sucking each others faces. I angrily went up to them, "Get the hell away from here, you gay circles!" I rubbed my temples with my left hand, "You're a f*cken mistake!"
One of the faggots spoke, "So were you, but your parents didn't want to hurt your feelings." My jaw fell at his stupid retort. I poured the contents of the cup in my hand onto both of their head. They both shook their heads and left me standing there. "Homophobic b*tch!" one of them said.
