~ Lauren Anderson's POV:

The tapping of utensils and busy chatter was heard. We were at Pizza Hut. Neither Montes nor I spoke. We sat in the booth awkwardly. She was in front of me, but at the other end near the window a few feet away from me. No, I'm not complaining about her presence because I was the one who drove us here willingly because I can't take it anymore!

Food was seriously calling my name. I love food... like so much, I'd rather be in a relationship with it so we could eat each other! No, I'm kidding. It isn't possible. I just like eating. I have nothing to worry about my weight. It practically stays the same since I play volleyball, and other things. Having high metabolism is just a bonus since god loves me!

"Here pretty lady, and pretty lady's friend," the cute waiter says as he places a plate of food in front of me, and another plate of food to Isabel followed by a glass of ice tea. His eyes were a nice shade of sea green. His dark brown razor cut hair suited him.

I eyed the mouth-watering pepperoni pizza with hot buffalo wings, garlic bread and it's sauce. That will all be gone and into my tummy. Then, I'll have dessert. I'm like a food monster.

"Thank you, dear sir," I giggled out as he smiled showing his green braces.

"Just call me when you're ready for dessert," he says about to walk away. Or he can just be my dessert.

"If you want me to call you, then what's your number," I flirted. His mouth opened shocked, but no words came out. "Nah, I was just joking," I spoke shooing him off. I want to eat.

He shrug smirking then left without a word as I looked at his ass.

"Such a low blow," I heard Montes mutter as she stuffed her mouth with garlic bread after dipping it into the sauce. "My gaydar says that he's partially... GAY," she tries to say in a professional voice, but she hinted it in a funny way.

I snapped my head to her and started to glare. I tore a crust of the garlic bread and threw it at her. "Shut up." This is another thing why I hate Isabel. She makes the mean side of me come out with simple, stupid, cocky, arrogant words. Her voice annoys me all the time.

"What if I said I cant?" She rolled her eyes pursing her lips into a straight line as she sprinkled cheese onto her pizza.

"You can't because you're too gay too function," I muttered.

"Oh, you're quoting 'Mean Girls' now," she stated chuckling.

I ignored her and called the waiter for our desserts. He came and set a plate of chocolate fudge cake with vanilla. I can feel it already melting in my mouth just by looking at it. I handed the waiter the bill, and a $5 tip.

"Damn, aren't you scared that you might gain weight?" Montes asks. I didn't answer her.

I snorted and watched her intently as she lifts the pizza up about to eat it, but I think she sensed my eyes on her. She stop the pizza halfway into her mouth and looked at me. "What?"

I shrugged and grabbed the pizza off my plate and ate it without taking my eyes off of her. She intrudes me. I just want to figure out why a girl like her is a lesbian.

"You mesmerized by my beauty or what?" Montes tells me with her cocky attitude surfacing.

"No. I'm mesmerized on how well you can look perfectly ugly," I snapped. God, all we did all day was bickering like cats and dogs. I then drank my ice tea. She ignored my comment and we both continued on with our lunches going back to silence. Just the way I like it.

Just after a few seconds, Montes spoke again. Yep, Silence is gone. I spoke to soon. It was better when her mouth was shut.

"So... you like pizza?" she asks.
