~ Isabel Montes's POV:
Just wait until I see that guy's face. After I'm done with him, he wouldn't have a face and would have broken balls in which he won't be able to fertilize for children.
I won't promise though because compared to him, I'm an ant! Maybe if he ends up in a mental hospital, then maybe I'll be satisfied.
I grabbed Lauren's hand as we got off my motor bike. It was still dark when we arrived in the front steps of my house. I assume that my parents will be fine with Ren sleeping here.
I keyed the front door and entered before turning the lights on. I had a mini heart attack when I saw my dad sitting on the sofa with an unimpressed look. He had his work clothes on and coffee in hand while the movie, 'I, Frankenstein' was playing faintly. Lauren was still hidden behind me. I placed the duffel bag near my feet.
"Dad, seriously? Are you trying to scare me? It's not Halloween yet," I frowned. I still hadn't moved from my spot.
"Why'd you sneak out?" he asked straight to the point. He set his coffee on the table and stood up as he crossed his arms.
I sighed, running my fingers through my hair. "I had to get my girlfriend. She needed me," I replied as I stepped deeper into the house as Lauren was now revealed. I closed the front door behind her as she clutched onto my arm as dad walked closer. Lauren looked frightened.
"God, what happened?" he asked in concern as he saw Lauren's bruised cheek and puffy eyes. Her wrist also had lines as if she had been tied and her throat had red hand prints. I clenched my jaw.
Lauren stayed silent and buried her face onto my chest and I hugged her. "Dad, ask questions later. She needs to rest," I told him.
He nodded. "Go ice her bruises first. It'll swell and hurt more. Come," he says as he picks the duffel bag up. He motions us to follow him to the kitchen.
I sat her in a chair and kissed her forehead as my dad got an ice pack from the fridge and gave it to me. I put it lightly on her cheek and she flinched at the coldness.
Dad then makes us hot chocolate. "Dad, what time is it?" I asked. I could hear the spoon make contact with the cup as he stirs.
"It's 5:13am. I'll be leaving at 5:30," he spoke as he walks over to us and set the hot chocolate on the kitchen table.
"Thanks," I said.
"No problem. I'll put this in your room," he points to the duffel, "When you're done, go to sleep. You can skip school tomorrow since it's Friday," he said. He walks to us and gives me a kiss in the head and a hug. He then looks at Lauren. "May I hug you?" he ask kindly. I'm lucky to have such a sweet, caring father.
Lauren looks at me and I nodded. "Yes," she faintly says.
"I hope everything gets better for you," dad says as he carefully gives Lauren a hug.
"Thank you," the pink haired girl replies and she smiles a little. My dad nods and head to my room.
"He seems nice," Lauren comments as my dad disappears.
I entwine our fingers and rubbed circles on her hands. "It's because he is. He a great dad," I tell her. I moved the ice pack now to her neck. I sighed. I hate seeing bruises on her. It's like I could feel the pain. I set the ice pack down and took the two cups of chocolate. I handed her one and we both took sips.
"Uh, can I take a bath? I feel sort of... Dirty," Lauren says quietly and she sniffles.
"Sure," I replied as I helped her get up and into my room which was connected to the bathroom. I showed her to the bathroom and handed her all the things she needed.
