Newt- Before the Maze 4

(Newt's POV)
I heard the alarm that meant a newbie is coming up. I've been here around eight months. Alby trusted me to be his second in command. I'm terribly disappointed in myself, though, because I tried to kill myself. I'm over it.
I feel an arm keep me from jumping in the box. At first I felt defensive, but then I realized the box wasn't up yet. "What are you thinking, Newt? Do you want to end up cut in half?"
"Sorry, I got a bit distracting."
I saw Alby didn't understand, but he still dismissed it. After another five minutes if waiting, the box was up. I jumped in, and was completely surprised. A girl?
"Hey Newt, what's going on down there?" A glader yelled.
"It's..."
"Spit it out, you shank."
"It's a girl."
She was a brown haired, brown eyed, girl. She looked terrified. Her knees were to her chest and was crying.
"Who are you? Where am I? Who am I?" All the typical questions I thought.
"I'm Newt. You're in a place called the Glade. I don't know who you are. I can't tell you much else, until the tour."
She just nodded and took my hand to get out. The guys crowded her, eager to see for themselves. Alby wasn't having it, though. "Get back to work, you slintheads!"
"Hey. Do you remember anything?"
"I... wrote something on my arm." She looked down and showed us a carving of my name. It was becoming a scar.
"Lex. Your name is Lex."
"How do you know that?" The question came from Alby.
"I just...I did the same as her, before I came up. I didn't realize it meant anything until now."
"Then you should do the tour. See if you remember anything."

The tour went as usual. I just talked and pointed, the greenie just pretended to listen. She said the most unusual thing. "What do you remember about me?"
"Just your name."
"I remember...you and... " she stopped not wanting to continue.
"What? Tell me."
"I thought you were dead."
"Well I'm not."
"I know I liked you." She stated. Immediately regretting it, she put her head down and walked away.
"Wait, Lex!" It was too late. "I remember you." I just murmur to myself.
