Maze Runner Prefrences

Newt imagine- Might...Just Maybe

     Someone voted on my story... What does that mean? I hope those of you who are reading this (6 people) actually like it. :) enjoy!
 
You're running. You're running in the maze. You've wanted to do this for so long. None of the boys wanted you to go, though. As you turn a corner, a griever is waiting. You skid to a stop, but it stings you. The pain is so intense, you jolt awake.
     "Shuck!"  You say aloud.
     "You ok?" It was Newt. He was cool, but almost never talked to you. You thought that meant he didn't like you.
     "I'm fine. It was just a dream."
     "Want to talk about it?"
     "No thanks. I'm just going to take a walk." You get up and head off towards the deadheads. You've never been there before, but Newt seems to go in there a lot.
     You walk for about half an hour, when you sit at a tree. Out of nowhere, you laugh a little. "I don't want to be a runner, anymore."
     "Why not?" A British voice says from behind the tree.
     You don't say anything.
     "Was that what you dreamt about?"
     "Yeah."
     "Would you be mad if I was happy about that?"
     " Why would you be happy about that?"
     "I don't want you to get hurt."
     Since you don't know how to respond, you don't. You hear Newt sit down on the other side of the tree.
      "Can you keep a secret?" Newt asks you.
     "Of  course."
     "Do you promise you won't laugh?"
     Even though he couldn't see you, you raise your right hand and say, "I solemnly swear."
     "Good that. Well, I ... Might...just maybe...l-like y-you."
      That came out of nowhere. It hit you like a pile of bricks. The silence becomes too unbearable so you say, "O-Ok."
     "I'm sorry. I made this weird. Didn't I?"
     "Don't be sorry. It's fine. I haven't thought of romance, since I've been here. But if I did have a crush, it would be you."
     "Really?"
     "Really."
     A crumbling of leaves of followed by Newt standing in front of you. He holds out his hands, and you take it. Both of you walk out of the deadheads together.
