Chapter 13

-Taehyung P.O.V-

"Sit down Taehyung, he will be alright" Jimin tugged me besides him. I sat down and ran a hand through my head.

"But what if he won't? What if he dies or something?" I asked panicked.

"He will be" Jimin assured. It got quiet for a while.

"We're lucky that he had your number in his phone Jimin" Namjoon suddenly said. "How did it get there anyway?"

"Taehyung put it in his phone when they got lost in the woods" Jimin answered.

Namjoon was aout to say something else when he got interrupted by a nurse.

"Jeon Jungkook?" She called. The six of us stood up and walked to her.

"Are you family?" She looked at us. We all shook out heads.

"We were the ones that called the ambulance" Yoongi explained.

"We can't reveal information to non-family members" the nurse sighed.

"He has none besides his dad, who is probably the one who caused him to be like this" Yoongi scowled. The nurse seemed to hesitate.

"I'm as closest as possible to family" a voice called from behind us, we turned around to see Joshua quickly walking to us.

"Hong Jisoo is my name, I'm his butler, he doesn't have any family besides Mr. Jeon and I" he told the nurse.

"He is out of the ER and he is steady now, he isn't awake yet due to the medications we gave him, but he probably will be soon. As for injuries; three fractured ribs, one broken rib, his nose is also fractured, his arm is bruised and he lost a lot of blood. His entire back is open so he is on high pain medication." She told us.

I sighed in relief when I heard he was stable, but when she started mentioning the injuries , I frowned.

Did his dad really do this to his own son?

"Thank you very much ma'am, when are we able to visit him?" Joshua asked.

"You will be notified when he's awake, that should be soon, please don't enter all at once. He might be confused and have headaches, it would be better that only three or four enter" the nurse told us. Joshua bowed and thanked her before she walked away. After she was out of sight he sat down on one of the benches and held his head in his hands.

"What happened to Jungkook?" Jin asked him.

"His father came back from a business trip" Joshua sighed. "Every time he comes back he--he beats or abuses Jungkook" He confessed.

"We found him without clothes, does his father you know, abuse him l-like that" Jin carefully asked. I wanted to hear the answer, but at the same time I don't. What if he does?

"Y-yes, s-sometimes, when h-he is gone for a longer while." Joshua muttered. "I can't s-stop him, he'll b-beat Jungkook even worse, he always makes sure that m-most of the staffs are a-away. We all know to not interfere, that'll only make it w-worse" tears were forming in his eyes.

"We hear him s-scream, everytime, and it really kills you when he does so" Joshua fumbled with his hands. "I can't stop him, I tried, it doesn't help" we let the words sink in, it's definitely worse then we originally thought it was.

"Do you know why?" Yoongi asked.

"No"

"Is it because of Min-Ji?" I asked. I shouldn't, but I want to help Jungkook.
