(Galene's POV)

The guy walks over to me and Legolas, and notices Legolas is hurt. The guy is about to rip off his other sleeve, but the elf interrupts him ''I'm fine Aragorn.'' He sounds a little annoyed, maybe because he doesn't get hurt much. He rips off his own sleeve and tights it around the wound. The guy, apparently called Aragorn, nods.

''We've lost one horse. Gandalf, will you ride to the town, warning them they'll probably be attacked in a day, or less. Take the other horse with you. We will try to travel there as fast as possible, okay?'' Gandalf nods. ''Be safe'' and rides off with very fast speed.

I walk over to Legolas, and give him his bow and arrows back. ''Thank you for letting me borrow it'' I say. He hands me back my knifes. ''We have to get there as soon as possible. It's not much further, we will be there before night if we run fast.'' Aragorn says. ''Then what are we waiting for?'' The dwarf asks.

Aragorn looks at me, probably thinking what he should do with me. Leave me behind, or keep me prisoner but then he might think I would run away. I actually really do feel like fighting more. ''Tie her hands, she'll go with us.'' He decides. Is he really going to let me run with my hands tied?

I mean, I can do that, but I run faster without any rope around my wrists. They gather their stuff, Legolas takes a few arrows out body's from orcs, and we start running. I must say they're good travellers. I run pretty slow behind them, and when they don't notice I get my knives out my jacket, and cut the rope.

I run way faster now, and feel free. I won't try to run away, I don't really feel like a prisoner. I run in the middle of the four of us, but they don't seem to notice my hands aren't tied anymore. For a while we run on very fast speed, but the dwarf seems to be out of breath, so we take a break for a moment. Legolas stands on a stone, seeing something, so I stand a few meters beside him. I see a town, probably the one we're heading to. ''It's not far anymore'' He says to all of us.

A little later we all are running again. When we arrive at the city, it's not even a little dark. They probably thought it would take us way longer. While walking through the town, many people stare at us. I don't like it when people stare at me, but I do not bother looking back to stop them.

When we get to the place where, I guess, the king lives, we walk a few stairs up and reach a huge house. We walk inside and there is a man sitting at the end of the room, probably the king of this town. Gandalf is standing beside him. ''I already warned him, the people are preparing for the fight. I've seen the orcs walking, there is a chance we can win this.'' Gandalf speaks up. We all nod our heads. ''You can get some rest for now. We have a few free rooms. My guard will lead you to them'' The king speaks up. We all thank him, and one of his guards comes to us, telling us to follow him.

We follow him to a hallway with a few doors. He shows Aragorn, Legolas en the dwarf their rooms, and me as last one. ''You can sleep here, if there is anything I can do for you, please tell me'' He says. I look at him, he has brown hair falling over his forehead, and blue eyes. Seems a little older than me. ''This might sound stupid, but do you know where can I get some water here?'' I ask politely. He smiles, ''I'll bring it to your room in a few minutes, if that's okay with you?''

''Yeah, sure. Thank you'' I smile and he leaves. I walk into my room. It feels so weird, my own room. I look around. It has a bed and a table with a chair. Doesn't sound like much, but I'm very glad with it. There is a knock at the door, and it's the same guard as before. He hands me the water and I thank him. ''If I may ask, are you going to fight too, my lady?'' He asks shyly. ''I wished so. But I don't think they'll let me'' I say sadly. ''Women usually don't fight. They get in like a basement, with the kids. So they don't get hurt.'' He says. I nod.

''I know. I'm just, not good at sitting somewhere safe, while the others are outside, fighter for their and our lives. And in fact I am pretty well in using an arrow and bow '' I say, the last part jokingly. He grins and I smile. ''I wish you good luck, don't loose hope'' I say. ''I'll see you after the war, my lady'' He says, making clear he is confident about winning and surviving this fight. He smiles and leaves the room. I lay on my bed, which is way more comfortable than where I've slept the last days, and immediately fall asleep.

I wake up by someone knocking on my door. I stand up and open it, seeing Legolas standing. ''You're not going to fight.'' He says, as if he can read my thoughts. ''You'll sit downstairs in the basement. I'll lead you there and tie your hands up, In case you are going to try to escape while we are fighting.'' He says. ''Follow me.'' He walks through the hallway and goes a few stairs downstairs. We reach a big room with a lot ladies and kids in it. We walk to the left side were the least people are.

He takes a handcuff and puts one around my wrist, and one at the chair. I just sit on the chair, deciding not to struggle against him. ''I'll get you free after the war, okay?'' He says. ''Great'' I say, a little bit sarcastic. The corner of his mouth slightly turn into a smile, and he walks away.

A few women around me look at me, probably wondering why I'm tied to this chair. When Legolas exits the room I try to get out of the handcuff. I first tried to get my hand just through it, but I probably shouldn't have done that because now my hand hurts a lot. An hour goes by and I'm still not free yet. If I just had a knife or anything I could have cut the chair, I also asked a few women around me if they had a knife, but they just looked weird at me. I don't think it will be long anymore until the war begins.

I hear a lot footsteps, upstairs. Probably the orcs arriving at the town. Hearing how many there are, it probably will be a tuff fight.

The footsteps stop, and I hear a lot like swords or something being banged against the ground. I don't really know what's happening. Then a silence, a yell, many orcs yelling and running, probably in attack right now. The women and children in the room look frightened. I hate the fact that I can not fight. I keep trying to get out but it doesn't work. After a few minutes someone bursts into the room.

A few people jump up, and everyone looks at the door. When they see it's just a guard they relax again. I look at him, and recognize it's the guard I talked to today. When he sees me he runs to my way.

''You should not be locked up here if you also can fight'' He says smiling. He takes a knife out and starts cutting in the wood of the chair. ''I took an arrow and bow with me for you.'' he adds. A few seconds later I am free. My hand is still cuffed, but I guess I'll just have to deal with that. ''Thank you so much'' I say. He nods, gives me the arrow and bow and we run outside, ready to fight.
