3rd POV
Destiny finally arrived to the hospital with her parents because they arrived when she arrived. They walk into the hospital room to see Preston, Victoria, and George.
George and Preston left so they can go get some rest for tomorrow's game and let family be with Amy. Before leaving, George asked for Victoria's number and asking her to tell him when she wakes up.
"Thank God she's gonna be okay." Her aunt lisa said as she sat in a chair next Amy and grabbing her hand.
"Mija was that George Springer and Preston Tucker? Destiny's father Richard asked
"Yeah dad that was them." Said Destiny
"How..?" Lisa asked
"Long story mom. To make it short, Amy and George met after she got into a little trouble and from there they started getting to know each other."
"What kind of trouble?" Richard asked.
"I'll tell you later dad." Destiny said.
"You know I'm really hungry. Did I say that to loud?" Victoria said shocked that she said her thoughts out loud.
The room busted into laughter from Victoria's random outburst
"You guys go get something to eat. There's a diner across the street, I'll stay here with Amy." Lisa said.
"Amor are you sure?" Richard asked
"Yeah you go I'll eat something later." Lisa said waving them off.
They left out of the room leaving Lisa and Amy and before Lisa knew it, she dosed off into a deep sleep.
Amy's POV
I hear voices but I can't make out who it is. I'm trying to open my eyes but there not ready to open just yet. Next I hear what sounds like laughter then silence again.
I would guess it took me about 30 minutes until I finally managed to get my eyes to open. When I opened them I was welcomed with bright light. I shut them automatically and I slowly opened them again. At first my vision was a little blurry but eventually became clear. Looking at my surroundings, I see that I'm in a hospital room. I look to my right and see my aunt asleep on a chair.
"Tia?" I said in a some what raspy voice while grasping her hand
She stirred a little bit and opened her eyes and sat next to me on the bed hugging me.
"Oh my baby girl are you okay? Do you need anything?" She asked
"Water."
She went out of the room and came back with a cup of water. The liquid running down my throat felt so good and I could now talk clearly.
"What happened? Why am I here? And why do I have a cast on my arm? All I remember is walking out of my apartment and nothing else." I had so much questions. What the hell happen to me?
"Mija from what I understand is that you were leaving your apartment to go to school when you fell down the stairs. Victoria found you on the bottom of the stairs bleeding from the back of your head and called 911. You broke your arm while you fell and you also have a minor concussion. So the doctor ordered you on bed rest for 2 weeks, so no school for you love."
"Dammit." I said. The last thing I needed was to miss school when I'm almost done with my classes. To make it worse I have a test next for child guidance and that's the one test I did not plan on missing.
"Hey Amy don't get frustrated. I can go up to your college and talk to your teachers and see if they can send you the assignments." My aunt suggested.
