Amy's POVI feel so much better. Since telling George about my past, I feel more free and I'm slowly finding my way to my old self. I also truly love him. He is the definition of perfection. He has been supporting me and helping my bad days turn into good days.
"So are you wanting to help me and Kara with getting some supplies for Gianna baby shower?" Noel asked. Ah yes. Jose and his wife Gianna are soon having their first child. A baby girl to be exact.
"I sure am." I said as us wives and girlfriends sat in our spot in the stands. Watching the men that we love play ball.
"Great. So how have you been? You've been on cloud 9 for awhile now." Kara asked.
"I just became more open about myself and it literally feels like a huge weight was lifted off my chest. To top it off, George has been very supportive. He has shown alot of care and love for me. So yeah that's why I've been on cloud 9." I said
"That's good. Apparently your not the only one, anytime mine or Noel's kids around you, they eyes light up like if it's Christmas." Megan said.
"She's always had that effect on kids. Amy's appearance make children glow with joy." Victoria said.
"Oh stop it." I said lightly pushing her shoulder.
"What? I'm just saying the truth. And im not only saying this because we're family."
I just smiled at that and continued to watch my boys play.
~After the Game~
I'm standing by the dugout waiting for George to finish his shower and grab his things so we could head to his house. I'm spending the night there and I've been doing that alot lately. I'm not over there every night, maybe 2 or 3 times a week. As I wait for him I see Astros manager Aj Hinch making his way towards me.
"Are you Amy Morin?" He asked.
"Yes sir I am." I said
"Please call me Aj, calling me sir makes me feel older." He said offering me a smile.
I giggled a little. "Sure. Is there something I can help you with or..?"
"Actually I'm here because Jeff luhnow(Astros General Manager) Have something to offer for you."
I nodded my head as a sign for him to go on.
"You did the newspaper story over picnic in the park right?"
"Yes I did."
"Well Jeff and the photography staff were very impressed with your work to the point where they decided to see if you had any more photos involving the team. They contacted your boss Jena and she sent over photos to us and we were very pleased with the results from the past and the photos you took at Arlington. Your a good photographer."
"Thank you." I said feeling so much pride in my work.
"How would you like to take the job as part of photography staff? Your job will be to take photos, upload, them to our instagram account."
I'm honestly in a lost of words of right now. Out of all photographers in the Houston area. Astros baseball has picked me to be part of their staff. Literally I feel so much excitement because if I take this job, I'll be able to travel with the team and be able to see different parts of the U.S and different baseball parks.
"I..I'd be happy to."
"Excellent. Now the way this works is that you travel with the team on our away games and do some of our home games. Are you in school?"
