Chapter 10 - Meeting the team

Amy's POV

After our amazing date George dropped me off at my apartment, not without leaving me a goodnight kiss of course. I walk in the apartment and made my way towards the kitchen with the roses in my hand, with the biggest smile on my face.

"Oh that face says how your evening went. How did it go? what happened?" Destiny asked as she and Victoria sat at the table.

I set the roses down and began talking.

"Ladies two words....ITS OFFICIAL!!" I Said in excitement.

They yelled with joy and gave me a group hug.

"Oh girly I'm so happy for you. So tell us give us a little more detail." Destiny said.

"Well we had nice dinner and then from there he took me to my favorite park, the one where the lights turn on at night anyway, he gave me the white roses and basically told me he gave me those specific flowers because it represents puriness and he said I'm 100% that. Then he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes. Guys he got so happy that he picked me and spun me around and then get this..we kissed.

"Aww that is to cute. So how are you feeling right now Amy?" Victoria asked

"Honestly, I feel so happy right and I haven't felt this much happiness in a long time and it feels good."

"See I told you that you've been doing better." Destiny said patting my shoulder.

"Alright Alright enough about me, how was your guys night." I asked

"Preston and I had a great night. We went to the movies watching the conjuring 2. Which I most of the time had my eyes close."

"Chicken Shit." I said smirking

"Shut up anyway after that we went to go play mini golf. I won most of just saying." She said crossing her arms.

"Y'all didnt make out did you?" Destiny asked.

"Um...well...after we were done golfing......we kinda made out in his car" Victoria said turning as red as a tomato. For her being hispanic, she is pale.

"Dang Victoria." I said laughing at her because of her face.

"Damn, y'all been going out for like two weeks already and you guys are at that stage." Destiny said.

"Anyway! How was your evening Destiny?" Victoria said changing the subject.

"Well Jaylah wrote a beautiful poem her words were so deep and passionate. Then we sat there listening to other people poems and then we eventually left and we headed to the arcade to play and go karts. But you guys will never guess who I saw at the arcade."

"Who?" Me and Victoria asked

"Shawn. You guys remember him, we went to school with him.

"What for real?" Victoria said.

"Really? I haven't seen since he moved sophomore year." I said.

"Yeah well he came up to me and Jaylah and of course we said hi and he eventually started hanging out with us. After the arcade he left with me and Jaylah and we ate together at pizza hut. Then after we were done eating Jaylah left for the night and Shawn and I were going our separate ways when he came up to my car window and gave me his phone number and said hoping me and him can hang out again."

"Dest call him. When do you see guys doing that and besides, didn't you have like a major crush on him" I asked.

"Not a major crush...a minor crush but I will call him though. It was really good seeing him again, he still the sweet guy he's always been."
