He stands there in a white suit and tie, along with black pants and a jeweled pendant. "Aren't you going to invite me in? I have a question for you, Savannah," the way he says my name- like he's accusing me of something- makes fear coil tightly in me like a whirlwind. "I'm sorry, but are you accusing me of something? Because in case you haven't noticed, I just got here!" I tell him, more than a little furious. He pushes past me and into the house, his brown hair waving as he does so. He's lean, well-defined, and way too damn intimidating. There's something odd, to say the least, about his eyes: one is blue and the other one's a really deep green. If I had to describe them, I'd say they were...haunting, terribly and truly haunting.

Coming to sit on the leather sofa to my left, he scrutinizes me with the intensity of a wolf. "Not at all, dear. It's just that my sources tell me they saw you letting out one of my prisoners," his gaze becomes cold and calculating. "A woman named Patricia Faye, would you happened to know her?" Oh hell! She must've let herself out with the portal she created. That was stupid, but so, so very brave. "No," I reply, voice steady and unflinching, but apparently, not convincing enough. "You're lying! Tell me the truth," he pointed a finger at me, and a pain like I've never experienced before pounded in my head.

Suddenly, I was on the floor writhing in pain when a voice shouts, "Stop it!" A voice I know all too well, and have come to trust. Jake! "You dare stand against me?!" Alexander's temper rises in waves, and he's lunging for Jake so fast he doesn't even have time to react before Alexander's pouncing on him, punching and kicking without ceasing.Little did he know that a power was surging inside me, watching and waiting to strike. I put my palms to the brown carpet and created a force field of ice around Alexander, encasing him in it. All the while, Jake stands there, mouth gaping and shock written clearly on his face. "What the hell?!" I'm not entirely sure what he was gaping at, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was my almost-blinding white eyes.

"Is this normal?" My inquiry was met with a look of awe, which I took for a big fat, "Hell no!" Great, so now I'm an anomaly. That's just freaking fantastic!
