Braiden
Noah's laying on our bed near my left side, staring at me with those lovely hazel eyes in concern. "Hey, you okay? Collapsing among Souls is uncommon," there's worry lines edged into his face so deep they look like wrinkles. "I'm fine, I promise: utilizing too much power like that will do minimal damage to a shapeshifter like me. We're stronger than you might think, my love." Reassuring him is like trying to remove a cinder block from a building.
However, I secretly love that he worries about me that much because it signifies he has an abundant amount of love for me that proves we are the lucky ones, and no matter what happens, we have something that could last forever. Noah Paladino is my safety net: I hope with all my heart he knows I love him like he loves me. "Can I tell you something, Noah? Something I never say enough," I bite my lip in a nervous habit, fearful of what he'll say.
Here, safely tucked into this copper-colored bed, he smiles sweetly. "Sure, you should know by now that I love when you feel secure with me enough to confide in me," he proclaims earnestly. Sitting up in order to get a better view of his face, I softly caress Noah's left cheek as I say: "I love you, my courageous, kind Noah. I love how you're always so noble, no matter who comes knocking at our door. To this day, I still have no clue how you cope with my bitchy tendencies towards Savannah alone, but I love you for that, too-"
He kissed me with all passionate fire seared into it, our lips colliding together like magnets preparing for an electric storm. Falling back onto the white pillows, I untied Noah's red suit and threw it on the fool without a care. His body was taut and rigid as it always is because he was born that way, and it didn't bother me one bit. When my silk nightgown fell to the floor, Noah's fingers were to blame for it sliding off. Kissing his neck but also drawling a path down to his pierced navel, he moans while taking my face in his hands.
Noah's belt got caught between my thumb, although he assisted me with that department moments later by flinging his pants right off. For a few seconds we gaze at each other, me in my costume-made black Dulce Cabana brassier and Noah in all his model-like piercings: one on his ear that curves around when he turns, but there's another rolling upon Noah's tongue. Parting my legs and wrapping them onto both shoulders, It was only a few more seconds before our bodies were finally, finally together in a beautiful stroke of love.
This is living. This is my light.
