Savannah
Halfway to Baker Street accompanied by Liv sitting up straight in her front seat driving like a maniac, what contents was stored inside my stomach unexpectedly roiled to the surface without consent. Hunched over this backseat among feeling as if I'm legitimately dying, my eyes swam and spun like never before. "What the hell? Savannah, are you alright? You're looking a little green and-shit, my car! You're puking in my damn car!" Liv appeared horrified.
Irises narrowing into slits, I glared at her with evident contempt. "Bitch, shut up! Oh, God, my head. I can't-I can't-" I stutter audibly. "You can't what? Do I need to drive to a hospital?" Liv wondered aloud just as I yelled, "Watch out!"
"Dammit!" She veered toward the opposite lain but not prior to colliding with another car. We flipped upside down, then were ejected from Liv's car. A shuddering seizure inhabits my helpless body, bringing its claws of death along for the ride. The last thing I glimpse was Liv's Toyota catching fire. Then nothing...

Alanna woke up then, unsettled. Crimson eyes peered into darkness when she locked gazes with startlingly familiar brown ones: Hayden. Other than a few battle scars our sister looked unscathed, for that I was glad and proud. Hayden's taken aback expression only serves comical relief at this moment, eliciting a smile from Alanna. "This must be one hell of a trip, right, sissier?" Alanna cocked her head.
Hayden, wearing dirty sticky black sweat pants and a red jacket, just smirks right back. "Not entirely. However, I am shocked to see you in the flesh after all that's passed, Alanna." Hayden's bright smile showed perfectly lined teeth but it was gone a second later. "Your presence-though welcomed-is perplexing. Savannah hasn't died yet, so you're being here makes no sense right now," she amended quickly. "Savannah came dangerously close to her last moments tonight, sister. This is just me taking safety precautions only," Alanna explains serenely.
Hayden sighs in indecision, then nods slowly as if ultimately coming to a decision. "You understand I can't allow access into her mind yet, right? I'm sorry for what may occur as I do this, Alanna." Hayden steps back and puts her hands up, mimicking a fighter's stance. Alanna chuckles while her eyes gleam like spears. "Hit me with your best shot, Hayden."
She did. Alanna got knocked out so hard.

Savannah- Present Day
Disorientation doesn't even begin to describe what I'm experiencing right this minute. It feels as if black clouds are lodged inside my head, blocking brain capacity for new information. An unknown figure stands near the corner of this garage: a good distance away from me. Vision adjusting enough that I can actually see who's watching over me, I swing my numb legs off the floor and stand on wobbling feet. Rage mingled with hurt like a best friend long ago lost, assembling volatile combinations of both overflowing. "Come on, we have to run now before The Hatchlings arrive. They're almost here, I can feel dire danger approaching rapidly." Lucien grabs my hands urgently but I slap his face, stunning him silent so fiercely he stops moving altogether.
"You left me like it was nothing, Lucien! Why fool me into falling for you when it seemed so incredibly easier for you to leave in a blink?! I had no idea you were that selfish!" I yell, my voice echoing in the stillness. During the duration of this entire rant, Lucien remained infuriatingly quiet; his demeanor still, calm. "Are you done yet, pretty? I'd very much like to speak, if my speaking is okay with you" Lucien rolled his beautiful eyes. A huff and sigh later, I nodded reluctantly. "Mom and Micheal had just died in traumatic ways I'd never experienced before. I had no idea how to express such pain as that! Yes, I had you there but you couldn't fix the ripple between my heart this time. What would you have me do, then?" He asked like a small child, soft and desperate.
