Savannah

How long I've been in hell, I couldn't tell you.  The thing I can tell you is this: Lucien-who's currently on a man-hunt for Micheal since that horrific day in the garage-hasn't found him yet. So I'm just sitting at a square table dressed in what Lucian considers a yellow skirt mirroring sunlight, with his white T-shirt clinging to my skin.  Hey, at least it's an upgrade from all black clothes.

Needless to say, I was bored out of my mind.  Abruptly, I felt electricity crackle noisily somewhere outside, then came this terrible scratching like someone ripping flesh from a body. A human body, no less.  Sprinting towards the beige doorway, it creaked open without me touching it.  Sure enough, a silhouette stands in the doorway; a smile plastered to her lips.  Shock combined with horror brings me to my knees, mouth agape.

"Liv?" I croak as she steps inside, skimpy black dress and all. Before I even had the proper amount of time to process who just popped up on the doorstep, this booming crash sounded out of nowhere, diverting our attention.  I was running-flying really-out Lucien's house onto grass.   Locating Lucien underneath some kind of blue substance that seemed gross and gag-worthy, I realized it was wet, but also icy-cold.  Is that hail?!

As soon as those three words echoed in my head, it began pouring hail down on our heads.  "What.  The.  Shit?!" I screamed just when it nearly collided with my body, but I whirled away.  "I'm sorry, Savannah.  Although my hopes for you were great, I'm afraid your time here has sadly come to an end," Liv's voice rose above the hail, her hands raised.   Catching a closer glimpse of my best friend's eyes, they were not brown anymore.  They are black, soulless, void of anything human.

Liv swatted her right hand to the sky, like Lucien and I were bugs she needed exterminated immediately.   Attempting to call on Alanna for backup, my own demon bestie was locked up-no, imprisoned-inside my brain.  "I'm here, but it's like being sucked up into a vortex.  I can't reach you!" She sounds irate, which under normal circumstances, would've been great.  Right now however, it was not.

Wind picked up steadily, blowing my hair back.  Then as if a tornado swept in with an angry force, these feet gave underneath me, ultimately making me fall on the grass.  This fierce wind circled around Lucien and I, like a cocoon.  When we catapulted straight up to the sky and clouds parted, one thought pulsated inside my brain:

I will bathe in that bitch's blood...
