The First Fight

Ok. So this is really long, I know, but I couldn't help it. Anyways, sorry I haven't updated in so long. This week was killer with homework. So please forgive me! Also I was super tired.

So words in this, 'words...' are when the team is talking to each other telepathically. Ok. On to the story!!!

Y/N POV ~

After I left my apartment, I used my technology hidden on my left arm of my suit to find some crime nearby to fight. I found one and it was about 3 blocks away from my current position. 'Yes! Finally, something to fight!' I was so happy. I closed the hologram ( the keyboard screen thing like Robin's, also you are a lot like him. No powers. Just awesome martial arts. ) and grabbed my grapnel gun to hoist myself to the other building and on to the crime. I got to the building and it was a science lab. 'Really. It had to be a science lab? Why not something more interesting?' I thought while I snuck in through a window on the ceiling of the building. I looked in and couldn't see a thing so I turned on my night vision with my mask. I looked around and saw men moving equipment around. I smirked and silently climbed around the upper beams of the museum waiting for the right moment to stop them. "Are you sure we need all this equipment?" a male voice asked who I believe was the boss of the group. "Yes! The Boss wants us to bring in everything we can for the project. Or do you want to quit this task and be killed? It that is?" The sub-boss, I guess, said. "N-no. It's ok. I wasn't meaning it that way. I will start moving the boxes over there." 'Hmmm. Interesting. I wonder what are in the boxes though?' I turned on my x-ray vision on my mask and looked around where the boxes were. 'The heck? Why is there Cadmus venom here? This can't be good. "Hey! Who are you? Intruder! Get the equipment on board now!" the sub-boss pointed to a group of men, "Men, come with me." And he came charging towards me. I jumped of the rail and landed cat-like on the ground. "Well looks like you found me. I knew I should've been more quiet. Oops!" "You won't get out of here alive!" one of the men yelled. They were all in front of me. "So how many do we have here." I said while counting the men in front of me. "Seven? Oh my," I started to fake cry, "What's a girl going to do with this many people to fight? It's hopeless!" I pulled out a cloth to cry in when secretly there were smoke bombs in it. I brought to my face then threw it on the floor getting away from them in my curtain of smoke. ( I kind of got this idea from The Hunchback of Notre Dame with Esmerelda and the soldiers. I like that movie. ) I could hear their coughing and cursing. I smirked. I reached inside a pocket of my utility belt and grabbed a ring-like device. I popped it in my mouth and ran towards some of the men. I started punching and kicking them unconscious to the ground. I grabbed the sub-boss and threw him over my shoulder. As I threw him I got close to his face and brought the device to my teeth and bit down on the secret button. It blew fire into his face while scorching a couple nearby guys. I landed on my feet and stood up. I dropped the device in my hand and put it back in my utility pouch. "Is that all you got? Ha! And you call yourselves thieves." I scoffed at them. I ran around knocking out other men around the hall and stopped at the last one. The sub-boss. 'Why isn't he knocked out? That trick always works on people. Ugh. Never mind. I'll just fight him.' "Still up and kicking are ya?" I asked him. "Surprised you are with my fire." "Ha! Your fire? That was nothing. Nothing compared what I'm about to do to you." He threatened while cracking his knuckles. He suddenly run up to me and threw a bunch of random punches and kicks which I easily dodged. "You call those punches?" I teased him. "They are more like your throwing pillows." He got super ticked and had a lucky shot at my stomach. I skid across the floor and hit a box. "Lucky shot." I exhaled while flipping back up to my feet before he could hit me. I was mad now because of earlier that day with the school girls. I was still in pain but held it back. "I'm done going easy on you." I said while vanishing into the shadows. I turned my night vision back on and found him standing there looking around. I smirked and reached my hand above my weapon holder, which was on my back. 'Bow and Arrow' I thought and my f/c bow and an arrow were in my hands. My bow was folded so I held it in my ( your dominant hand ) hand and snapped it open with a swish in the air. I gracefully put the bow in place and shot the arrow at him and it blew up. ( All that happened in the span of about 10 seconds ) He was sent across the floor and hit the wall. "Why you!" He yelled while getting back up. 'He's still awake!?!? Ok. Plan B.' I snapped my bow in a fold and put in over my pack and dropped it in. 'Sword' I thought and my sword was then in my hands. I grabbed some smoke bombs and headed towards the sub-boss. I threw the smoke bombs at him and he started to cough while fighting his was threw the thick smoke. I pushed a button on the sword and the top opened up. I started to run around him while dropping poison injected spikes all around him. I used my grapnel gun to get atop the rafters once again. "AHHH!!! OW!! What the HECK?!?! What did YOU DO YOU LITTLE BRAT!!!" He yelled in pain. I started laughing so hard. "Hahaha. *sigh* Ok. Ok. Have fun with the poison. Anyway." I jumped down and walked towards him. I have special shoes so that my feet don't get poisoned. I grabbed his collar and brought him close to my face. "What are in those crates and what are you planning on doing with them." I asked him. "HA! Like I would tell you. I'd rather die!" "That could be arranged" I said while smirking. "Hold it right there!" a different male voice said. I looked over and there was a group of teens standing in front of me. "Please let him go. We will take care of it from here. We thank you for your help but we have important business to do with these criminals." The leader, I believe, told me. "Why should I listen to you. I don't know if you're telling the truth or not. So why should I?" I confronted him while still holding grasp of the sub-boss. "Look, we know that you are trying to help or not. Wait are you a criminal too? Or are you a hot hero?" A guy in a yellow jumpsuit said. "What do you care what I am? I am just trying to get information on what this halfwit is doing with those crates." "We aren't getting through to her. Might as well bring her down by force." Said a boy with a superman symbol on his shirt. He jumped after me and I had to drop the sub-boss to get out of the way. I did a back handspring and dodged his attack. 'He almost hit me! He is strong so I need to watch out for him.' "Hey! You could've killed me!" I yelled at him. "Like that would actually happen though." I saw a flash from the corner of my eye and the mustard-looking kid was right next to me. "Look. Just listen to us and you can be on your way and we can be on ours. Maybe you and I can hook up, if you know what I mean." He said to me. 'What the! Who does he think he is? My boyfriend because last time I checked, I Don't HAVE ONE!' "Well no I won't listen to you, and no thanks. I don't like playboys. Especially playboys with orange hair who looks like a bottle of mustard." I heard an outburst of laughter from two other teens. A blond haired girl with a bow and a black haired kid with a mask and cape. 'He looks familiar. Hmmm.... Probably just my imagination.' "Hey! That's not funny!" Mustard Boy whined.

Unknown POV

'Ok. That was a good joke. I like her, but there is something different about her.' Artemis telepathically thought to everyone. 'I feel like she's hiding something. But I don't know what.' Megan joined in, 'Yeah. I feel it too. But I feel pain from her too, like she has suffered from something. I could read her mind!' 'NO!' They all shouted. 'Ok. I'm sorry.' 'What about Me?' Wally asked. 'Didn't you hear what she said? I am not a bottle of mustard!' He complained. 'I don't see what's wrong with her saying that. I think she told the hard, funny truth bae watch.' Artemis snickered. 'Aww come on!' Wally whined.

Y'N 's POV

'They are laughing at my comment. Huh. That's never happened before. Except for Dick. He is so nice to me and now these people are too. Maybe my life is changing. That would be awesome. What if...' My thoughts were interrupted. "Stupid Brats!" The sub-boss yelled while stabbing my stomach with a little pocket knife. Note little. "AHHH! Hey! Get back here!" I screamed as he started to run away. "Ugh! You guys distracted me and now look!" I yelled as I held my stomach. I started to run after him and grabbed my grapnel gun and launched into the rafters. I ran through the rafters and found him. I was right above him so I grabbed some smoke bombs when a whip of water tripped the guy. 'What was that?' I jumped down and went towards him instead. I kicked at his legs breaking the right one so that he couldn't run away again. "AHHH!!! Why you b...." He was knocked out by the guy in the superman shirt. "He was getting annoying." He said to us and went over to a... GREEN GIRL?!?!? "Finally he's out." I sighed. "Thanks for your help, I guess. But I better get going." I said as I reached for my grapnel gun to go back to the window I came from. "Hey! Wait! Umm... Well your injury needs to be taken care of and..." "I'm fine I can take care of it myself." I interrupted him. "Robin is right." The water dude said. "It would be out of thanks if you came with us so that we may heal your wound. And also, I could talk to batman to see if he would be okay for you to join our league. If that's alright with you. We would like you to be on our team." They all just nodded their heads and agreed with him. "Y...you guys actually want... me?" You asked them almost feeling tears in your eyes but you blinked them away. "Yeah. You'd be a great part of our team." Robin said. "Ok. I guess I could stop by for a while." I confessed. "Yeah! Alright!" They all cheered. "I won't give up on you babe." Mustard Boy said while putting an arm on my shoulder. "What about these criminals. Do you know what they are up to? I saw Cadmus Venom inside the boxes and I already know that Cadmus isn't good and all but..." I was interrupted by the superman shirt guy. "How do you know about Cadmus!" He yelled at me while walking up to me with a really ticked look on his face. "Look. I have my ways and you don't have to get all mad at me!" I yelled back. "Our friend has had troubling times at Cadmus. He does not like that place. Also he has a bad temper." Water Boy said. We heard sirens in the background. "Well cops are here. Better get going. Also you two have been silent this entire time. What wrong? I don't bite." I asked pointing at the two girls. "She's right, we should get going." Robin said to us. "Alright. Robin get as much information as you can and meet us at the roof. You... umm... I am sorry. What is your name?" Water Boy asked me. "My name... my name is S/H/N ( Super Hero Name )." I told him. "Thank you. Then S/H/N stay here with Robin so he may bring you to our bioship. We are off then. Team, let's move." He ordered. 'Why do I have to stay with Bird Boy?' I shrugged. The rest of the team left and it was just Robin and I. "So what did he mean by get as much information as you can?" I asked Robin. "I am just hacking their system to see what they're up to. Then we check it at the lab in our hideout." 'Idiot! Why didn't you do that before?!?' I mentally slapped myself. 'Too late. He got to it first.' "And... Done. Ok let's get out of here and clean up that wound." He said to me with a "million dollar" smile. He reminds me of Dick. Probably because of the hair. Also Dick, A superhero? Ha. Like that would happen.' I laughed to myself. We were on the roof in no time and boarded the bioship. "Nice ship." I announced. "Thank you. She works hard for us." The Green Girl said. "So, you know my name, so what are yours?" I asked them. "I will start. I am Aqualad. That is Miss. Martian, Superboy, Artemis, Kid Flash, and Robin." He told me while pointing to the other teammates. "Well it's nice to meet you all...Team." They all smiled at me. 'I am actually wanted. Someone wants me. I can't wait to start my new life!'
