Mission Part 1

So here comes the next chapter! How'd you guys like the whole Mount Justice meeting? And with how Robin stole Kid Flash's chips! That was funny. Ok on to the story!

Aqualad's POV

I contacted Batman about our mission and how we invited S/H/N to join our team. I am the leader so I decided this act and will decide these things until Robin is of age to become the leader of this team. He said he would bring some of the Justice League members to the mountain to meet S/H/N and greet her arrival. I turned the intercom off and exited the main room where we have our meetings and mission reports. As I was walking into the living room, I saw Robin and S/H/N on the couch and Miss. Martian cooking dinner. The dinner smelled delightful and my stomach growled. "Miss. Martian..." I was interrupted by the computer system. "Batman 01, Black Canary 13, Superman 02, Wonder Woman 03, Red Tornado 16, Martian Manhunter 07, Flash 04, Green Arrow 08." I saw the Justice League had arrived and I walked over to them. "Thank you all for coming here. S/H/N could you please come over here to meet the Justice League. They have come to also meet you." I asked S/H/N. She nodded her head and left the couch. She walked over to us with her head a little low. 'She does not have to be shy. It is just the League.' I thought to myself. She was standing next to me with a small smile on her face. "You may introduce yourself S/H/N" I told her. She nodded her head. "Hello. My name is S/H/N and I would like to thank you all for allowing me to be on this team." She told the League smiling at them. Just then Superboy, Wolf, Artemis walked into the room. "Why are you all here?" Artemis asked. "We came to meet the newest member, S/H/N." Wonder Woman explained. "By the way," Black Canary started out, "We are now all family, technically, and we keep each other's identity a secret. So would you like to tell us your identity?" "Umm... If.... If it's alright with you and the team, I would like to keep it a secret from everyone. I don't want to put anything into... umm... like something to turn bad... I guess. Do you understand what I am trying to get at?" S/H/N replied. "Yes I understand. But... You need to tell at least one person here; may it be a League member or a member of your team. It's just so that we know that you are safe and if anything happens to you outside of the hero business... we can find you. Also so that we know that you are not a spy. It's just a precaution and future precaution incase anything were to happen. So you may pick who you would like to tell and also it can just be one person. They won't tell any others about this. So don't worry. Robin does the same thing. His team doesn't know his identity except the League members." Black Canary explained. "Ok. I guess I could tell one of you. Do you choose or do I?" S/H/N retreated with an uncertain look. "You may choose." Batman told her. "Umm... ok. Then I choose..." S/H/N thought.

Y/N's POV

Black Canary explained to me that they needed my identity in case of an emergency. I understood, but what would they think if they knew who I am? What happened to me? They would pity me and try to help me. I don't like help. I don't want them to know, but I will choose... "I choose... I choose Black Canary." I pointed to the woman in a black swimsuit-like costume, who explained everything to me. "Alright then. You can choose when you would like to tell me, but thank you for allowing me to hold your secret. And I shall keep that secret a secret." She said with a warming smile. "Hey... umm... We never told her our names, or did I miss that part? So how do you know her name?" Flash interrupted. They all suddenly realized this act and agreed with Flash. They all looked at me with hesitant, curious, and determined eyes. "S/H/N, how do you know our names? We never told you about them." Batman asked me. I had to tell them the truth but I was scared. 'But Robin is a one too, so it must be alright. I didn't really do anything wrong.' I pondered my thoughts and decided to tell them the truth. "I... Well... *sigh* I had my own way of figuring that out. I am a hacker and I found out your names by that. But don't worry I made sure not to check your real names. I mean your identity. But I know all of your favorite hobbies and things to do. I only know of your superhero life though. I am sorry for that, but I needed some information to stop a villain once. And if you don't want me anymore that's alright. I understand." I held back tears. I finally found decent people and now I might lose them. "Honey. We would never let you go. You are a part of this team. As long as you didn't check our other files on our real identities. Then it is fine. And the rest of us here will say it is fine too. Right?" Black Canary told me while giving a death glare to the rest of the League. They all almost sweat dropped and nodded in agreement. Especially Green Arrow. "So now we have another hacker on the team?!?! Sweet! That means I don't have to do all that work." Robin pitched in. I couldn't help but chuckle at his remark. 'I haven't felt like this in years. I missed smiling for real. This feels good.' "So we're cool then?" I asked them. "Yeah we're cool." They said almost in unison. "But how did you even hack us? We have the best protection database, even better than the President." Flash said. "Let's just say I am a really good hacker. One of the best you could say. But I couldn't get information on my team. It's like they are blocked off from all access. So I don't know anything about them." I wondered. "Wait are you and Mr. Mustard both a flash? Like Flash and Kid Flash?" I asked Flash. "Yes? He is my protégé. Why?" He asked. I smirked and looked at his outfit. 'Red... like...' I closed my eyes. "Ketchup!" I burst out. "Oh! Sorry. I have a problem with weird nicknames. Like now I have Mustard and Ketchup for you and Kid Flash." I felt so proud of myself. You could hear Robin laughing hard enough that he fell off the couch. "Robin! Control yourself." Batman scolded Robin. "Sorry. It was a good joke. You should have heard her other one when we first met her. It was priceless." He apologized while getting back on the couch. 'Cute laugh. Wait... No! Not like what happened with Dick!' Suddenly Kid Flash was right next to me. "So another nickname for me? Soon I'll be calling you nicknames too... and the good kind." He said to me. 'Ewww! Gross!' "No thanks lover boy." And I left his side. "I will talk to you soon Black Canary. So don't you worry." I replied to her. "Well. Dinner's ready. How would you guys like some nice F/F ( favorite food ). Would you all like to stay and eat as well?" Megan announced. 'F/F? That's what mom always used to make. I haven't really had any since... since she...*sigh*' "No it is fine. But thank you. We shall take our leave then. Have fun S/H/N." Wonder Woman said while walking back into the Zeta Tube and leaving. "Ok. Let's eat! *Gasp* Hello Megan! I forgot about Artemis. Wally, could you go and get her please?" Megan asked. "Thanks." There was only a short time like a few seconds before she said thanks. And when Wally, I guess his real name is, came back, there was an angry blonde in his arms kicking and punching to get out of his grasp. "Put me down you b... *thud* OW! What was that for!" "Sorry. You told me to put you down and I put you down. Plus it's time to eat, and I'm starving!" Kid Flash replied while heading over to the food. "Well you didn't have to drop me!" She yelled back at him while standing up. "Come on guys." Megan told us. "Let's eat in celebrating to S/H/N! I even have cake and ice cream!" ( You can choose your favorite cake and ice cream flavors and all that stuff ) I looked over to Megan with a look of happiness then a look of sadness. "What's wrong S/H/N? Are you not feeling well?" Megan asked me. "No. I'm fine." I told her waving my hands in the air. "We just won't be having ice cream tonight." I fake smiled at her. She bought the smile too which was good. Megan turned around and saw Kid Flash with a spoon in his mouth and ice cream all over his face. "Sorry guys." He said while swallowing. "I was really hungry." "It's alright. I'm not that big a fan of ice cream." I lied. "If you say so." Megan said with a sorry look. "Well, let's eat shall we?" Megan exclaimed. We all took our food and sat at random places. Artemis and Kid Flash sat on the couch to the left, Superboy and Megan sat at the counter on stools, and Aqualad sat at the table. I decided to sit next to Robin on the couch again. "So as I was saying earlier," Robin introduced. I remembered that he was about to say something to me when the Justice League arrived. "I was going to ask you what you liked to do for fun? Like, I play pranks on the rest of the team sometimes." He chuckled. 'What do I like to do for fun?' I wondered. "Well, I like to ( your favorite things to do ), and play pranks as well. When I get the time to plan them, someone else gets blamed because nobody suspects me to do it. So that makes it like.... 10X better." I explained. "That's cool!" He said. I don't know why put I felt my face go hot. I instinctively looked down and admired my food. 'Oh yeah! Food!' I stared at the food for a moment then took a bite. 'It tastes just like Mom's! I didn't know that I could remember the taste.' I said as I felt my nose start to tingle. I held the tears in and won. "You ok? You look like you're having a tough time choosing whether you like it or not." Robin asked in concern. "Oh! Sorry. W...well I... I love it!" I exclaimed. I probably had stars in my eyes... well mask. I couldn't believe that it tasted like my mother's version. 'Well done Megan.' "Well that's good to know." Robin smiled at me. 'Again with that gorgeous smile! My heart raced again. 'Maybe I have a cold with all that's happening?' I questioned myself. I looked over at Kid Flash and Artemis and finished off my food. I set the plate to the side. 'They looked so cute together.' I thought. 'Let's see here... Kid Artemis? No. Flashmis? No. KidArt? No. His name is Wally, right? Yeah it is... so then.... WallArt? Haha! No. Wallmis? No. ArtWall? No. Their names don't fit each other. So I'll have to go by personalities. He is fast and can be stupid. She is smart and pretty....' "Spitfire!" ( Thanks to JoeMerl from Deviant Art. ) I jumped up. Everyone looked at me questionably. I quickly sat back down. My face was probably as red as Red Tornado. "Sorry." I quickly said. "It's... it's a habit." They shrugged it off. And went back to chatting and eating. "What was that?" Robin asked me. "It was nothing. I suddenly... remembered something and umm... let it out." I tried to think of an excuse. I didn't like it when people knew about my ship names. "I am guessing you didn't hear anything I said then." Robin sighed. "Umm... no. Sorry. Could you tell me again?" I asked apologetically. "Well I was wondering if you would like to pull a prank on the team with me sometime. I have some ideas, but I want to know how good you are at pranking." He whispered to me. "I would love to." I whispered back. "You will be surprised. Anyways, when, what time, and what are we doing and going to need?" I asked. "I'll get it planned out." He told me. He went reached for the remote to watch something. I looked over at Superboy and Magan. 'Time for their ship name. Her hero name is Miss. Martian. So...Hmm.... SuperMiss? No. Magboy? No...' My ship was interrupted by the computer. "Incoming call from Batman." Robin answered with the remote and Batman's face popped up on the screen. "I have a mission for you all. I will send you the files and location. Good luck and be safe." Batman explained... well not really. Then his face disappeared. "Is that it?" I asked out loud. "That's usually how it is." Kid Flash said. "He never gives us any information at all!" Superboy got angry. "Calm down Conner. We will survive and win." Megan soothed him. 'So his name is Conner. That helps a lot." I smirked. "You heard him team." Aqualad announced. "Gear up and meet at the bioship." He ordered us. 'The bioship? Eh. I'll found out later. Better get going. This is my first mission! YAY! I'll figure out the ship name later, when I remember to.' I celebrated in my head. I got together all my stuff and realized I didn't know where to go. "S/H/N. Come on." Artemis said. "Follow me." She smiled. "Ok! Thanks." I replied. We walked to a big red ship. 'Sweet!' I entered the bioship and took a seat behind Robin. Megan controlled the ship and we headed where Batman ordered us to go. 'Here goes my first mission on the team.'
