Chapter Fourteen

That next day everything seemed normal. Taylor was back to her well self and I was happy about that. No one else knew what was going on expect Olivia, Arianne, Taylor, Mike, and I. Everyone else was just going on about there business, like nothing happened yesterday. Of course they wouldn't know, so it was whatever. One thing that didn't click with me though, was Nick, he wasn't here. I looked around and it was no sign of him. Then I remembered him disappearing into the sky. That was the last thing I saw of him after his harsh words he said. I was scared out of my mind because he could just come from nowhere. I knew I could of been dead yesterday and I wasn't feeling quite like myself. My neck was still stinging from the grip on my neck Nick had. It still felt like it was there.

Taylor ran up to me talking extra fast and I couldn't understand a single word she said. I kept trying to say something, but she would cut me off before I could even get my words out. The only reason she was talking so fast about nothing is because she was nervous. For what, I don't know? I tried to calm her down, but it wasn't working at all. I took my hand and covered her mouth. "Taylor, SHUT UP!" I tried to tell her nicely, but it didn't come out how I thought it would.

"Mmmmm, mmm, mmm..." She rolled her eyes.

"What did you just say?" I looked at her confused and then remembered I had my hand on her mouth. "Oh, haha." I moved my hand and crossed my arms waiting on her to talk.

"I said I'm sorry I'm just completely nervous. I just got better and finally get to move around again." She was breathing heavily. She didn't seem like she was okay.

'Hmm, well you didn't miss much." I said. This school was soon boring, I couldn't believe I dealt with being here this long. I put my hands behind my neck and we started walking down the hall way. "Did you mean what you said about Mike?" I didn't know where that came from, but I was curious to know. I didn't want to make another mistake.

"Yeah, he told me everything that happened between him and Nick. I thought it was a lie, but the look in his eyes were so intense I had to believe him." She said holding her head down. "Mike isn't like that though, trust me I knew him for a while now."

I hoped he wasn't like that. he didn't seem like it, he seemed faithful, which made me have another question. "How come he didn't have a girlfriend already. I know these desperate girls drool over him all the time."

"He HAD plenty of girlfriends, but none of them were like you." She looked at me and smiled.

"Me?" I said surprised.

"Yeah I'm the one that told him about you and that's when he started watching you and he automatically fell in love, then Nick came and ruined that."

"I see." It was all kind of starting too make sense. The more information I got the more I can put the pieces together.

The first bell had ringed and everyone starting coming down the hall ways crowding it. Today Taylor and I had gym first period so we had to walk across the field outside to get to the gym. It was a scorching outside. The sun was beaming right down on us and I started to feel myself already and I wasn't doing anything but walking. We finally got in some shade and we stopped for a brief moment. I wish I had some water to just splash all over my body.

We kept walking and ran into Cole. Not him again. I was sick of seeing his face and his hands touching my body. He smiled at me and I rolled my eyes. I didn't want to see him and I hope he wasn't going to the same class as me. "I don't want to talk to you so you mind as well keep walking." I said and brushed past him. Taylor followed me as well.
