Chapter Seventeen

2 weeks later I was able to get out of that nursing home. That nurse was kind of creeping me out. She looked like a man too. Then again all these teachers here looked like men so it wasn't no surprise. We only had one more week to be in this school then it was vacation for a whole 6 months. I wanted to make this week the best since I haven't been in school like that any how. I had a whole bunch of work to catch up on and half it I didn't even know how to do. My stupid teachers didn't even want to help me out. I was on my own since Taylor, Arianne, Olivia, and Mike haven't been to classes either, they couldn't help me.

I was in my room going back and forth between my homework. I went from Science to Social studies, to Math, to English every second. I was dying from all of this. It was way too much work. I screamed in my head and laid my head in my book. My door opened and it was Taylor walking in here. She had books and a whole bunch of paper in her hands. I was lost and confused to why she was coming in here with all of that crap. "uh, Taylor, why'd you bring.."

"Because this work is hard and I can't take it anymore! It's like so annoying I can't do it I can't do it! I need help! Like how am I supposed to figure out this math homework knowing I'm not good at it and don't get me started with Science..."

"TAYLOR!" I screamed at her. "Stop talking please,  and I can't help you because I don't know how to do it either." I told her telling the truth.

"Why must High school be so hard it wasn't even that hard last year." She said throwing her stuff on the ground.

"Well it is Junior year, we only have one more year left."

"I hope it goes by quickly." She said siting in my desk chair.

Next thing you know Arianne and Olivia came walking in my room with their books too. I didn't know my room was the place for everyone to bring their shit and throw it on the floor. I rolled my eyes and they sat on the floor. I didn't feel like working at all and it was the last week of school so why bother to work. I didn't see the point of it, I would just have to take those classes over again next year.

Olivia sighed and laid on her stomach. "I wanna do something then sit here and listen to silence." She complained. "Can we leave?"

"We have to work Olivia." Arianne said back to her "Do you want to repeat the same classes over again." she said raising her eyebrow.

"I done it before." Olivia said.

"So have I, I say we go have some fun it's only one more week left." Taylor added standing up.

"Come on Arianne it won't hurt to go out for a hour or two. I promise will get back to work." I said to her trying to persuade her to let us go.

We all looked her with puppy faces, She tried to resist looking at us, but Olivia got her to look her way. "Please honey?" Olivia said putting her hands on her shoulders.

Arianne sighed and opened her eyes. "Fine, but only for a hour then back to work!" She said to us.

We all jumped up for joy and headed out the door. First we went to the café and got a whole bunch of snacks and drinks. Then we went out played around outside. I was pretty hyper after the all candy I had. Taylor was caring me on her back and Olivia was on Arianne back. I never thought I would make great friends like them two. Especially Taylor, she was my first friend so of course she was my best friend out of all of them. I never felt this happy before surrounded by people. It was like my darkness was lifting up. I couldn't stop smiling at all I was so happy. I thought it was just the candy but I was actually happy.
