y/n let out a loud sigh as kira suggested the date she said would be much fun.

"y/n it will be fun! plus, i'll be there." kira said a smile on her face.

"i'm only going because you're going to be there." y/n truthfully said walking to the closet looking for any thing he/she didn't mind getting covered in mud.

                  30 minutes later

"are you ready?" kira asked smiling while pulling out of the driveway.

"i suppose," y/n said, shrugging.

the two finally pulled up to the venue. various cars and people were everywhere.

"you know, a part of me hoped you weren't being serious." y/n said, closing the car door.

"to late." kira said dragging y/n with her to the starting point.

"trust me, there's nothing to worry about. i'll stay with you the whole time." kira said, a smile on her face.

suddenly a man blew a whistle, kira then sprinting off as well as many other people.

"so much for staying with me." y/n yelled after her as she ran.

after telling many people to piss off, slipping in mud, almost being trampled by someone who is half y/n's size, and cussing more people out, he/she had finally made it to the finish line.

"see that wasn't so bad now was it." kira said walking towards y/n.

"well you did come in first place while i came in last so." y/n sarcastically said.

"oh don't be dramatic, i came in third. well, let's go get this mud of shall we." kira said holding y/n's hand.
