saying y/n disliked scott was a huge understatement. she fucking hated his guts and she thought he hated hers too. but it seemed she was wrong.
being derek's little sister instantly made her apart of the pack whether anyone liked it or not. no one really minded her being in the pack but scott who seemed to always become tense when the girl popped up. y/n had always assumed scott didn't have any care for her until one day that changed her view on him and and his true feelings.

when y/n didn't show up to school one day no one thought much of it. they all assumed she had ditched considering she was a hale but at the very back of their minds was a bad feeling considering they all knew y/n had perfect attendance.
after school malia, y/n's bestfriend, had decided to call derek and make sure y/n was okay. malia listened to the phone ring before derek finally spoke, "what?" he demanded. "where's y/n." she asked making derek sigh. "home sick." was all he said before hanging up on the girl leaving her with an odd feeling.
this continued for weeks with derek telling the group y/n was still sick or she had to go around town and get some things to send to isaac in france. when in reality she was in echo house losing her fucking mind.
"derek where the fuck is y/n actually at? no one is sick for 3 weeks!" malia exclaimed annoyed as she confronted derek. "i told you she went to go visit isaac in france!" derek yelled back even louder making malia shine her neon blue eyes.
"no she isn't." a voice said from the front door of derek's loft. everyone swiftly turned towards the front door just in time to make eye contact with a worried chris and isaac.
"she hasn't been answering my letters. last time she didn't answer my letters was when allison died. but since then she's never missed a day. where is she derek?" isaac asked as he placed a duffle bag full of his belongings on the floor.
"somethings wrong with her. she's-she's insane." derek admitted making lydia just laugh considering y/n was the most sane person she knew. once she realized he was being serious she instantly stopped laughing.
"wait-what?" lydia asked, confused as she looked between all the hale's in the room.
"a few weeks ago we heard screaming coming from her room." peter explained. "we walked into y/n's room and she was crying but derek had managed to calm her down but as soon as he let go of her she went berserk. she tackled cora and kept hitting her and hitting her. we tried to get her off her but then she just started attacking us. derek called deaton and he came and gave her something which calmed her down. she's in echo house now, for her safety and ours." peter said as he leaned against the stair railing.
