Chapter 2

I walk into my room collapsing on the ground, my name is Kyle carter and this have been my life for the past 8 months, dad's death on the 3rd of February was a major blow to us, the shock leads to mums stroke some months later the doctor detected she have been suffering from cancer for sometimes now, my mum never told anyone though not after dads death when she got stroke.

i had to quit school to take care of my mum the doctor says she have got only 6 months to live and I can't imagine living as an orphan. My family use to be the definition of awesome it's funny how everything can just change within a year.

I miss my mum i miss my dad i miss the little siblings i never had, i weep for minutes with no one to stop me, to tell me its okay, i miss my family and with that am off to the other world...

Kyle.... Kyle wake up a masculine hand shake me gently trying to wake me up, wake up Kyle wake up it's just a dream.

Then i feel a heavy slap landing on my cheek, ouch!!

Wake up Kyle.

What!! Am up already I tried to steady my self thats when I notice am now on my bed. How did i get here i ask the figure standing next to my bed.

I came to check on your mum and I found you sleeping on the floor with your door wide open. So I attend to you too he smile

After dads death early February my dad family have left us all to our self never wanting to check my mum or see how well am doing, I still don't know how uncle Sean happen to come from that cruel family he has been the only person from dad family that check on us once in a while. I really don't like him at first cause his in the military

A naval officer so his always serious but after dads death i see the true side of him.

I need to check on mum uncle sean it's almost time she use her drugs i say trying to jump out of bed_

Chill Kyle have taken care of that she's sleeping i got here some hours ago so i gave her the drugs some minutes ago she's fine.

Thanks uncle Sean I hugged him i let my emotions got the better of me as i cry on his chest soaking his shirt with my tears.

Uncle Sean is 6.2 feet tall so my head rest a little below his chest.

I didn't respond I just want to remain in this position

We need to get this patched, God what have you been doing alone in this house do you want to give your mum another reason to think.

No uncle am not cutting or trying to kill my self it's just minor wounds Nothing serious.

You call this minor? He cross his hand on his chest before giving me the serious look.

I can bearly look at him now i no he his dame serious...so much for military personnel one minute they are nice the other they aint.

lets go he opened the door for Chris as they walk out of the room and with that the two couples I cherish lock the door closing me in and them out leaving me to get ready.

I quickly strip off my clothe, my once favorite pink top is now stained with blood I quickly toss it on the floor getting in the shower to scrub off the dirt and blood stain sticked to my bruise.

35 minutes later i was walking down the stairs looking cleaner than have been for the past 6days. I can still feel the pain from the recent bruise but it has reduced

20 minutes i said, you have to add yours hen ??

Stop it Sean,Chris hit him on the arm playfully, ouch what did i say. You ladies need to learn how to stick to time and always be punctual.

Can we go now. I quickly jump in

5 minutes later we were driving down the street of lekki I quickly roll down the passengers window ignoring the fact that the air conditioner is on letting the fresh air fill my nostrils.

I haven't been able to go out freely after mums stroke, i miss been free i miss this,at that moment i feel like am on top of the world i can see uncle Sean watching me with one eye and the other on the road.

You miss this right.? Miss what i ask you

miss going out with your friends,your family trip,going to the beach, school?!

At that moment it's like his reading my mind, i miss my friends i miss Jay,Evans,Natan i miss my girls Lucia,Naomi i miss my school i miss going to the beachfront with my friends I miss everything.

I turn around facing uncle Sean opening my mouth to answer i feel the wind screen scatter across our face with the air bag hitting me the last thing I remember was the car turning and me floating hitting my head on the steering, and with that my eyes shut close.
