Hold On

Everyone sat in a circle. They all went on and on about everything they loved. Everything they lived for.

"My dad.........."

"That's it?" Elsa asked his depressed friend.

"Yeah....... Before I met you guys........ I couldn't stand being around other people...... I couldn't breathe when I was around other people. I thought if I ever made a friend they would just throw me away......."

"Well...... We're your friends and there is no way we would ever leave you behind." Lucy reassured Natsu with that smile she had.

"Thanks.........." Natsu smiled. Lucy reached over to him and held his hand. He blushed. She smiled. After a while she started to blush.

Everyone continued to rabble on and on about their lives.

"My mom and I get along okay......... But sometimes I feel like she doesn't understand me."

"I love my mom. She has a twin sister named Porlyusica. She's a doctor."

"My dad is a huge jerk....... But sometimes he can be nice......"

"Ur is awesome. Lyon is a huge showoff though. He's always looking to school me........ So I just gave up."

"My mom is so busy with her job she and I rarely spend time together......... So I try my best to impress her."

"My dad is sweet and understanding............. He's been worrying about me lately......... I don't want to make him worry..........."

"Natsu..........." The blonde gripped his hand tighter.

"Ow!"

"Do you have any pets?" The shy girl asked.

"I have a cat named Happy."

"Cool! I have a cat too! Her name is Carla."

"That's nice! They should hang out sometime." The bluenette laughed at this.

Before they all knew it it was 5:00. When they finally checked the time they flipped. Gray needed to get home before Ur threw a fit. Wendy had to go let Carla out while her mom was at work and Erza had to go make dinner before her mom got home. The three teens ran out the door leaving Lucy and Natsu alone.

"So............"

"Yeah?"

"What was it like?"

"Huh?"

"Wandering around in the forest.........." Natsu didn't say anything.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to-"

"No........ It's fine........................ It was scary....... I was only five but I remember it clearly...... All of it......... I was scared. Then I was hungry. Then I was thirsty. Then I gave up. A group of hikers found me lying on the ground and brought me to a police station........ From there I was brought to an orphanage. I stayed there for about two years and then my dad found me......... I didn't really talk at all until I met him. He was the first one to make me smile after that day."

"That's nice. I'm glad he found you."

"Yeah.........."

"Want to walk together?"

"S-Sure. Where do you live?"

"I live on Celestial Ave."

"You live in the apartments there? Huh. I figured you live in something bigger. "
