His Obsession

Chapter 1

The sky had darken giving a view of a clear night I know I was too long at the libaray finishing my Anatomy assignment.I have to reach home quickly but I am again being paranoid simply questinoning my caparicous sanity I dont know whats happening to me but I cant shook this feeling that Someone is watching me.The way goosebumps appear on my olive skin,in the way there is tingling on my neck & the sense of being watched.

I quickly turned the corner suddenly a shiver ran down my spine feeling the trembling of my hands I tried to stay strong but the astute part of my cerebarl cortex refuse to put out the obnoxious feeling of being watched.My hairs blew through my dupatta scarf the cold wind suddenly picked up making me shiver.I started thinking about Rukhsar, my best friend's wedding which was just around the corner.I have to go on the dress hunt for her wedding or should I say dresses as smoothly declared by my Best friend today which she uses Almost every time to blackmail me into anything whatsoever Iam excited as she is jumping with glee.Though Iam gonna miss her like crazy but I guess its a part of life.

Iam abruptly pulled out of my thoughts by the rustling of leaves behind me.I immediately turned around to see Nothing absolutely nothing just all & all darkness.I cursed myself for being so engrossed at libaray & belittling myself for not calling my brother to pick me up.Now whats done is done I just have to suck it up & walk quickly to home. I hurried my steps willing myself to walk fast then oh so slowly I again heard the swishing of leaves & my heartbeat quickened I didnt even looked back & started running when I saw My house I finally relaxed laying my body on the door to slow my breathing.When I looked up I swear I saw someone lurking in the shadows watching me giving me chills I pushed the knob & went inside quickly closing the door.

My family was all gatherd in the living room talking when I entered flushed they inquired about me & I just told them I was tired My brother, Amir looked at me suspiciously & I prayed that he believe my poor excuse.

I went to my room after taking deep breaths gaining some sense of normalcy I walked to my wall-mirror looking at myself my hazel light brown eyes were wide my cheekbones colored my plump pink lips were stretched in a frown & my heart- shape face looked pale losing its color after taking a shower & performing wudu(way of cleansing or purifying oneself ) I offered my Prayer(Salah) & Prayed to Allah that He keeps me safe & protect my virtue.
After offering Salah I felt at peace laying down on my bed I fell in a dreamless sleep dismissing the nagging bad feeling in my stomach.
