Chapter 7 {Just The Wind}

Phoenix's POV

Finally, it took us forever, but we finally reach the top of the mountain and I see a huge city made up of electronic metal. It was breathtaking. Harvie pulls my arm to get on top of my head. I walk toward the amazing city but try to lay low as well. We get closer to the city and I see a sign that says 'Genoa City'. This is our next stop. I walk toward the gates and hide behind a small bush because there's two guards standing in front. They looked human, but there eyes said something different. Harvie jumps off my head and runs towards the guards. "Oh my Gawd! Harvie NO!" I whisper-shouted. To my surprise they let Harvie in the city and closed the gates. I took a deep breath and walked towards the gates. "Who are you!?" Says one of the guards pointing his sphere at me. "Goo goo diggoo la bubbly bubba!" Says Harvie, the guards open the gates and I walk in.

"Thanks Harvie!" I say, putting him on top of my head. "Noe Popo!" He's adorable! I walk in the city. It really IS breathtaking I walk around the city to see any trace of an exit for our next stop.
I stop at a beautiful garden absolutely gorgeous! "Would you like to buy some flowers?" Says an old woman. She looked like everyone else, so I could tell she wasn't human. "No thanks, i have to go, sorry." She waters her flower and says, "Oh, where are you off too?" I turn around at her and say, "The Ice Castle, but I don't exactly know where it is." She smiles and says, "I do, I could take you there if you like?" I smile back and say, "Gee thanks! I'm Phoenix by the way." I say, as I stretch my hand out for her to shake it. "I'm Lucinda." She says, as she shakes my hand. "Come along then Phoenix, we haven't gotten much time, it'll be dark soon." I nod and follow Lucinda.

"Well here we are, but before you go Phoenix, I must warn you, the ice princess isn't very fond of humans, be careful and listen closely, if she stretches out her wand you may pass through, if she does not, the punishment is death. If you explain your story she might let you through. Be careful Phoenix!" I wave at her as I head to the castle, "Thank you and I will! Come on Harvie." I say as I put him back on my head.

I hold my breath and, shiver from the cold. I walk in closer and see two giant ice doors, but when I get closer and open them they are extremely light! Strange. I walk inside the beautiful ice castle and it's quiet, too quiet. All of a sudden a huge ice giant comes out of nowhere and scares the daylights out of me! He growls with his big teeth and just when it's about to be Harvie and I's doom, someone snaps their fingers and he turns into a big pile of snow. I look up and find a woman who's skin was pure Crystal. She had snow like hair and a beautiful dress made of ice. "What are you doing in my castle!" She shouts. I gulp and say, "Pardon me princess, but I need to get by." She glares at me and says, "Silence! I did not give you permission to enter my castle! You must leave at once!" I start to tear up and say, "I can't! I'm looking for a boy who has been here for years! And he's supposed to help me get home! I miss my family! Even Jane! I miss Emily and Olivia and Sam too! I just want to go home! Please you have to let me pass through! I'm terrified of what to come if you don't!" I fall to the ground crying my eyes out thinking about my family and friends and how much I want to go home.

I feel something on my shoulder and look up to the princesses wand on my shoulder. "Go, find the boy, and go home to you family, dear child." I wipe my eyes and say, "Thank you so much!"
She smiles and says, "You have a kind heart, don't let it go to waste." I smile back and say, "I won't! Thank you! Goodbye!" She smiles and waves at me.
Time to find that boy.
