Chap. 18 {Tell Me your hidden secrets..}

Phoenix POV

I paced around the room. I couldn't stop myself if I tried. I was worried about Lucas. Sure, he lied to me but, he must've had a good reason. Right?

It's been 2 days since he's been gone. I didn't mean to insult him. I was just angry. And now he left because of me. Now I'll never get home.

"What's wrong, Princess?"
Benjamin asks me, with a sympathetic look.

"Lucas left because of me..."

"But he lied to you. It isn't your fault. If anything, it is his fault!"

"But, but I like him. A lot. I can't get him out of my head."

Benjamin frowns and looks down
At his feet.

"Guards! I want you to go out and look for any sign of Lucas!"

The bow there heads and head out one by one.

"Um..thank you."

"You are welcome. I was once in love too. I know how you feel."

"Oh, What happened?"

"Her name was Cate. She was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. But her inner beauty was hidden. She deceived me. She never loved me, she wanted to be queen. I never opened my heart again."

"Oh....you didn't have to tell me that.."

"I wanted to...I will be back soon, stay here."

I nod.

I hope Lucas can forgive me.

Lucas POV

I woke up to my head pounding. Where am I. Soon enough my memory relived back into my mind.

I was in the Dark Queen's castle. I had broken my oath to her. And now I have to suffer a consequence. 

"I see you have woken up."
She smirked.

I tried to move but my hands were cuffed to the dark steel wall.

"It's too bad, you could of been apart of our family."

"No way!"

"I don't think you have a choice anymore, brother."
Benjamin Smirked.

"What the heck are you doing here!?"

"Taking you're place!"

"I knew I should've taken Phoenix and ran!"

"And what, lie to her some more!?"

"What do you think you're doing by working with her!?"

"May I remind you, you did too!"

"Yes I did, but not at free will!"

"It won't matter anyway she'll be dead soon."

"What are you talking about!?"

Tursuna smirks. Ew!

"You mean, she hasn't told you? She and I mad a deal. If she finds the seven keys to life in just a week, that she can go home. If not, she's mine to do whatever I choose!"

"Let me go! I can help her! Please!"

"I don't think so! You will stay here until she finds them! If she does not, it's lights out for both of you!"

I gulp and look down. They laugh sickly and walk away leaving me in sorrow.

Phoenix POV

"Phoenix! I have a message from the dark queen!!"

I ran over to Benjamin terribly frightened.

I read the note in despair.

Dear, dear Phoenix,

If you want you're lover to walk on the face of Zelena again, I suggest you get to work on the seven keys.

Oh and darling, don't cheat. I'm always watching you...

I gasp and felt like I forgot to breathe.
She was going to kill Lucas if I didn't do something!

"I appreciate you letting us stay here but, we have to go!"

He nods slightly confused, but I gave no attention to it I grabbed Dixie and Harvie, and chip too, and practically flew out of the castle.

I stopped at the forest and said, "Dixie, do you know where the next realm is!?!?"

"Yes I do, follow me!"

Harvie jumps on my head and chip sits on my shoulder. I ran faster than Dixie flew! I had to save Lucas!

Finally we made it, it was SO Dark in the next realm.

"This is the Truth be told Bridge. We can spend the night here."

I nod and rest Harvie in my pocket and laid in the grass.

Unknown POV {Dream}

"Hey Lucas it's too bad you can't have a mother!"

"He probably doesn't even remember what a mother is!"

The Boy didn't hear.. he was not there, for he was in a different world. He couldn't hear them in their world for he heard a different world...

He peeped around the corner of  the Charlie Brom English School to find the voices.

"Boy, what are you looking for?"

"Voices!"

"What kind of voices?"
Benjamin, Prince of the Soldier kingdom, asked the boy.

"Oh, just voices!"

"He's special Benjamin. Take him with you! Trick him if you must!"
The queen linked...

"I am the voices, boy."

His eyes brightened with joy.

"What is your name?"

"Lucas!"
The proud eight year old exclaimed.

"Well Lucas, my name is Benjamin and I want to take you to a place special people go."

"Where?"

"Zelena."
