The Refuge (Noire x Writer)

An Unfortunate Loss

     I drove to the Basilicom, as usual. I got inside and went to my office. There was a note on my door.

-"In case you were wondering, you're a CPU now, so you don't need to do your standard job anymore. You'll get paid by the nation. I hope that'll help with your money problem. P.S. Come to my office at the end of the day, there's some people I want you to meet."

     People that she wants me to meet? Who were they? Nobody in particular came to mind. Also, I would get paid by the nation now? HELL YEAH!!! I didn't need no 3 trillion dollars! I don't need to worry about our family anymore! Finally, I could give Sophie the life she deserved. We could get a bigger house! I could pay for her college or university! I got the feeling that our lives would be better from now on. I went around the nation just trying to get some work done and kill some time. Eventually, I heard a cry for help on top of a building. I flew over and saw 4 guys, most likely thugs, surrounding a girl on a rooftop. I landed with a back flip and stood in front of the girl. The 4 guys took out their weapons and started closing in on us.

-"Stay here young one." I said.

-"Okay." 

     Without wasting any time, I jumped in the air towards the 4 and grabbed one of their heads. I flipped around him, still holding on, and threw him towards another. I lunged towards another one of them, grabbed his wrist as he attempted to slash and twisted it, disarming him and throwing him on the ground. I then punched him in the face to knock him out. I quickly turned and dodged bullets flying at me. I got closer to the shooter every second. I made it to him, broke his gun in two, broke his leg and knocked him out. It was done, I walked back to the girl. She was wearing a jacket type dress, she had light purple hair with a D-Pad hair clip on her left of her head. She was pretty cute. She was giving me a thankful smile. 

-"Come on, I'll bring you back to the ground." I said.

-"Alright."

     I picked her up and brought her back to the ground. I let her down and she spoke up.

-"Hey, do you come from Lastation by any chance?" She asked.

-"Yes, I do."

     Her eyes widened with shock. Why though? Did she know me? Whatever, that wasn't my concern, I had to get to Noire's room now! I flew off and went full speed until I reached the Basilicom. I got inside and knocked on the door. 

-"Noire, I'm here! You wanted to see me?" I asked.

-"Yes, we did. Come in!"

     Wait, "We"? Was there more than one person in the room? Oh wait, it's probably Uni. I walked in and saw something I did not expect. All four CPU's were in the room! Actually, all five were in the room since I see that Neptune had brought Red Soul also. They all looked me over as if they were examining me. One by one, they all walked up to me and shook my hand.

-"I'm White Heart, or Blanc if that's easier. It's nice to finally meet you, "Renegade". One of them said.

     I looked away while scratching the back of my head.

-"Yeah I know, I'm an idiot. But I've changed!"

-"I know, Noire told us about it."

     Then the next one walked up to me, almost as tall as me.

-"I'm Green Heart or Vert if you'd prefer that."

-"My sister has been talking about you a lot."

-"Has she now? I'd love to meet her one day."

-"Maybe you will."

     Next was the famous "Couple of Planeptune". Neptune was the first to shake my hand.
