Times had gotten a lot easier with the nation continuing to make technological advancements, mostly military technology. We've been able to handle Lava Diamond scouts a lot better, easier to detain. I was doing my patrol near the outer wall when I heard a call for help outside the border. I hesitated for a second before choosing to go investigate. I followed the call and eventually found a woman lying on the ground, bleeding from her gut. I landed next to her and went on one knee to look at the wound. A single bullet wound in the gut. I pulled the bullet out as she let out a pained yell. I looked at the bullet and saw that it was a revolver shot. The same bullet that killed Sophie, I looked back down at the woman.
-"Who did this? Which way did they go?" I asked.
-"I...I don't know but I saw them go that way." She said, pointing to the left.
-"Thank you, I'll leave an emergency beacon here so the paramedics can find you here. I'm going after your attacker."
-"Thank you Blue Soul."
I turned and gave her a thumbs up before flying off in the direction that she pointed. It took me a while, but I finally saw group of Humvee's and pickup trucks fleeing heading towards another part of the forest. I decided to tail them. I followed them until they came to a sudden stop. I hovered behind them for a while until I saw one of them get out of their trucks and walk up to a rock much taller than him. He pressed his hand up against the rock and a secret panel came out of the rock with numbers on it, I watched closely as he typed in the code
-"7-1-0-2-8-5" I whispered to myself as he pressed the buttons.
The panel retracted after he finished typing and the rock opened to reveal a ramp leading downwards into somewhere else. If I could destroy the Lava Diamond's base of operations, I could increase our chances of destroying them entirely! As soon as they were all in, the door closed and I approached the rock. I pressed my hand against the rock and the panel came out. I typed in the code and the giant rock door opened again. I walked inside, trying to be the quietest I could. I got up inside the vents and started making my way through rooms. Whenever I got to another room, I peeked through the vent cover and saw if it there was only one or two guys inside. All the rooms were packed. I eventually came across a bathroom with one guy having a smoke. I got out of the vent and put the cover back on silently. I sneaked up behind the guy and zapped him with my taser. I dragged him into a stall and took his uniform. Surprisingly, it fit me perfectly. I put his body in the vent and put the cover back on. I got out of the bathroom and tried to act as normal as I could. I took the opportunity to take a look around. This place was huge! It was like an underground military base! Hanger, Armory, Barracks, Briefing room, everything you would find in a standard military base. I saw something that peaked my curiosity, a sign over a door that said: "Prototype testing room". What prototype did they have planned? I had to see this. I got inside and saw a huge mech suit that you control from the chest piece.

I arrived just in time to see the scientists about to perform a test. I heard the scientists talking and manning the controls of the suit remotely. I looked over to the suit as it powered up, picked up a test dummy and put the dummy inside the suits chest, armored doors closing afterwards. The scientists turned it off and came out of the control room. One of them walked up to me and addressed me formally.
